Anyways, me and my party headed to the "Lion's watchtower" to seek the wisdom of the sage. When we got there, some hot girl called Freddy said I'm her master, she also uses lots of earth lingo. Anyway I dont remember ever meeting her before so idk what's up with her.
To climb the tower we needed to complete some trials. The first trial had 100 anthropomorphic animals, and the riddle was "the monster's fangs crushed the child's soul, which bite was the deadliest of all?"
Luckily, I'm a five night at Freddy's fan, so this was easy for me, I chose the 87th animal and solved the trial immediately. Who would've though my Fnaf knowledge would end up usefull.
What did you say? "I should explore the connection between me and the mysterious figure from the past who is very similar to me"? Why would I do that? it's just a coincidence, bro, I mean he was alive 400, how could we even be related?
I think Subaru is in denial of his relationship to Flugel because of the things Flugel has done to the people around him, like Shaula.
My guess is that Flugel isn't nearly as villainous as Subaru believes him to be and things like Shaula's entrapment in the tower are consequences of some unforeseen tragedy that heavily delayed him. We'll see I suppose.
Remember how Subaru was for a sec convinced his pre amnesia self was evil because he was suddenly thrown into a crazy situation and lacked the full context?
What does Subaru know about Flugel actually? As of Arc 6, it's only Shaula, and while this does seem like a pos move, it's not blatantly evil.
Also Puzzle scene happened before Subaru realized that Shaula's case is a tragic thing, so doesn't seem to make sense that he's already denying thinking about it.
Puzzle mystery and Shaula calling him master, there are enough cues to at least question it a little.
Imo, this is one of the very few issues with ReZero. The world throws obvious bs at the characters' faces and they just blatantly ignore it. First thing that comes to mind is literally from the same arc, Emilia matching handprint at the top of tower (she has been blighted all her life as the witch, and now finds a possible connection at the tower sealing the witch, but no) and Volcanica saying Patrasche's name (when the old senile dragon changed from his default dialogue, it warrants attention, especially because his voice is loud), and even Subaru not questioning why Satella and Emilia are a 1:1 in appearance, if it were a resemblance I'd agree to leave it behind but this is exact replica.
What is actually evil is having the puzzles need otherworlder knowledge to solve, meaning 100% of non Subaru people trying to get the Sages help will die and probably have died
Hell if another hipothetical otherworlder came in he would die if he also didnt know a bunch of Astronomy trivia
Shaula ex spoiler I mean according to shaula ss flugel and the part were party were fighting a group known as saintess faction led by pandora wov. So flugel might not have wanted books of the dead to go in her hand
