I want to play Rock Band again on my Xbox 360 - problem is many of my controllers don't work. They have all been sitting unused for years. I have two fender stratocaster guitars and a drum set. Battery compartment for one guitar and drum set is all roached out, I have heard cleaning with a q-tip, lemon, and vinegar/baking soda might help so I will try that. The other guitar has a pristine battery compartment. None of them will turn on even with fresh batteries. I am wondering if there are any resources to help me diagnose/fix the problems with my controllers - I am intimidated to try to open up the guitars with zero idea what I'm doing.

Having trouble downloading Rockband 3 deluxe on my 360, I have the Aurora dashboard and I have the disc to the game, but how do I download the disc onto the console and switch over the files?

I tried to search up songs to download yesterday and when i looked at the Rock Band page it was completely empty, no add ons, nothing was there. Which makes no sense cause a month ago everything was there. And i KNOW there’s still songs you can purchase regardless of the delistings, so why is it COMPLETELY empty?

PS Store glitch? Or did they actually just completely wipe out the DLC purchases on PS3? Anyone else?

I posted a few days ago asking about fixes for my green drum pad, and have since replaced the piezo sensor and am happy to report that it’s functioning now, however, it seems that any time I hit combo notes with the green pad, the green pad doesn’t register. It works fine on its own though. Are there any known fixes for this?

i have been playing rb4 on ps4 a recently almost half of my dlc has become locked even after loading my licenses multiple times if there is a fix pls comment as its almost 100 dlcs i cant use 🥺

I play RB4 on PS4 and RB3/GHM on Xbox 360. I decided I wanna buy a projector instead of a TV. Are there any cheap projectors with low latency? I don't wanna spend hundreds on it. Thanks!

Did I need dlc? I went through every one of the 'decades' challenges but it didn't appear where i expeced.

well I have my rock band 2 drums (i play on xbox360) and I really want to play pro drums but I don't have the money to buy an ekit or some cymbals from a reseller, I tried to solder the piezos to mono jacks and they didn't work and I wanted to know if there was a way to make my own cymbals or not thanks :)

Hello! The other night I picked up a RockBand guitar controller with the dongle and when I try and run a few of the RockBand games I run through USB Loader GX, the guitar will sync with the dongle but the game won’t read any input from it.

Sometime it will work in RockBand 3, the guitar will select player 4 and work great, but with any of the other games it will sync with the dongle and just go blank (not seem to select a player). Even when I try to resync while in the games menu.

I read that changing the Loader IOS off of the wii’s 249 in USB Loaders settings could help, but it doesn’t seem to do anything except for possibly crashing whichever game I’m loading into.

I’m not exactly sure if or how USB Loader could interfere with how the game reads input from the controller but if anyone knows any fixes or other input that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

Keep seeing videos of people getting ps3 games to work on ps5, even discs which is crazy. But would rb3 work if it was popped in the ps5? And what about Blitz?

I recently got a Keyboard at a low price, for Xbox 360. It works fine, except for the up arrow of the D-pad.

At first look it's not a big deal, but navigating the game menus without the chance of going up is a nightmare.

I somewhat manage to choose every song I want, but I haven't found a way to select a lower difficulty or playing style once I select them.

Let's say I want to try a song at hard difficulty using Pro keyboard mode: once the song is over, I can't go back to normal keyboard mode or easier difficulties and, since the game memorizes the setting I selected earlier, I'm not able to go back on top of that menu. All I can do at that point is to reboot the game.

Regarding the hardware issue, I already tried disassembling the keyboard and cleaning contacts, but it just didn't work. I should probably go to a repair shop and get it fixed, but I can't really afford it right now.

Do you guys know some tricks to navigate the menus that could help me?

Anybody ever opened one of these keytars up and fixed a problem like this?

Why do I feel so nuuumb

Whenever I begin to think, "I should practice tapping for this," I seem to come up with a convoluted method of one-handing it instead. Here, I decided to move up to 4th position for the B-O trills and hit the orange notes with my middle finger.

It was rather effective, as I managed to FC this 3 times last night. Twice, I failed to get good squeezes. This was my 2nd FC with some squeezes, though my orange button was inconsistent and dropped two sustains early.

Does anybody have any suggestions for songs to practice tapping? I have every Rock Band game on the Xbox 360.

First time I’m FC’d a setlist. Pretty impressed with myself.

Rock band 4 is no more in playstation store i guess, there are some option to get a code or account of the game? I hace only digital ps5 version...

The only option to use the guitar i have is fortnite festival?

I currently have the RB3 Deluxe version installed on my PS3 (running Hen). For reference, the version I own is digital. I have legally have and own all of the RB 1-3 songs + DLC, RB4 + DLC songs, and all of the GH + DLC songs installed. Ik it’s a lot but that pretty much the only game on my ps3. (I have a 500gb HDD that has been recently installed not too long ago)

I’m able to boot up everything, I can play a couple songs, everything is fine up until the game freezes. It seems to be random. For example:
-After playing a couple songs, it freezes once the song ends (depends, could be after 3, 4, 5… 10+ songs)
-I change difficultly mid song
-I drop out and join using a different instrument
-I’m picking a song
-I quit a song

Any help?

Also, if removing songs help, how can I individually delete a song and not the whole pack
