Affordable projectors with low latency

I play RB4 on PS4 and RB3/GHM on Xbox 360. I decided I wanna buy a projector instead of a TV. Are there any cheap projectors with low latency? I don't wanna spend hundreds on it. Thanks!

Yes and no. Search "low latency projector" and find one that fits your budget, but expect to pay $300-500 for something that isn't absolute trash.

People have been playing rock band on projectors since launch . Hell my buddies and I played Rb2 on a projector in our apartment back in 2008.

The real thing is just getting the calibration right .

Yeah i know, but it's much easier to calibrate a low latency screen (projector in this case) because it's easier to get it perfectly. On higher latency screen it always feels a little off and it's harder to get it right

I don't think any halfway decent projector exists that doesn't cost hundreds. You rarely find good monitors for under a hundred, projectors cost more than that.

Yeah, you can happily do the job for 300 since it doesn’t need to be 4K or anything but under 100 will be trash

I bought the Viewsonic PX700HD refurbished back in 2018. It's 1080p but has 16ms latency in game mode, which was good enough and barely noticeable for games on my playstation. Back then it was $400 but now prices are over double that on Amazon with the current state of price gouging in the world. I've made other purchases from the official Viewsonic Refurbished site and I've seen stuff become in stock once they build their refurbished inventory. Keep checking there or see if you can find one on the used market for a reasonable price.
