This was on Firefox for PC latest version, no ad block, java or cookie restrictions. After adding to cart, proceed to checkout, accepting the disclaimer screen, it would just stall going to the payment processing. TIA, just want to prepare for November sale.

At the end there were only Sunday passes available to buy , so we passed on that , wondering if someone else had a similar experience

We’re one day away from Returning Registration. If this is your first Returning Registration, or your fifth, here's a few final tips for being ready:

• Read (or re-read) the CCI Returning Registration page.
• Read (or re-read) the Toucan Blog The Ultimate Badge Sale Prep for 2027.
• Read (or re-read) the SDCC Blog Returning Registration Visual Guide.
• Log in to your Member ID account to be sure you remember your Member ID and password.
• Check that your email address is current and correct.
• Make sure that you have “Eligibility:✔️ Comic-Con 2027 Returning Registration”.
• Pre-load your credit card information into your Member ID account.
• Get any information from your Member ID account that you need, as you will be locked out of it during the sale.
• If you have a buying group, get everyone’s Member ID, last name, and days wanted.
• Turn off your computer's sleep mode.
• Turn off your computer's screensaver.
• Turn off your browser’s ad blocker.
• Update your browser to the latest version.
• Consider installing a second browser, just in case something goes wrong.
• Add a bookmark for the Member ID link.
• Just in case, put your credit card next to your keyboard so you don't have to grab it from your wallet or purse if you made an error with your pre-load.
• At 8:45, go pee.
• If something goes wrong, take a screenshot. CCI won't always fix it, but screenshots help.
• If everything goes right, take a screenshot of your confirmation page.

If you were in a buying group:

• Take a screenshot of the confirmation page if you bought badges for anyone else, in case there is a need for “proof of purchase”.

CCI will lock us out of Member ID in advance of the Returning Registration sale. It could be a few hours before; it could be a day before.

You want to check:

• That you remember your Member ID and password. You may not be able to accomplish a password reset during the sale.
• That the grey bar on the left says, "Eligibility: ✔️ Comic-Con 2027 Returning Registration".
• That your email is current and correct. Keep in mind that SDCC emails often don't play nice with gmail accounts.
• That you opted in for emails under both “My Account Information” and “My Communication Settings”. Opt-in is not the default.
• That your payment information is re-loaded and correct. CCI wiped it all out again.

Hi. I have never gone to SDCC and was wondering is it hard purchasing tickets? Like do they usually go pretty quick when they are open to purchase? Thanks

The law was originally aimed at concert and sports tickets, but it could apply to badge sales. I'm not a lawyer, but if someone is, please give your opinion!

The text of California Assembly Bill AB 1349: reads:

"SEC. 8.Section 22505.5 is added to the Business and Professions Code, to read:22505.5.

Notwithstanding Section 22503.4, 22504, or 22511, it shall be unlawful for a person to knowingly use, cause to be used, provide, sell, offer for sale, market, or facilitate software or services to do, or otherwise engage in, any of the following:

(a)Purchase tickets in excess of posted limits for an online event ticket sale.

(b)Circumvent or evade an electronic queue, waiting period, presale restriction or presale code, ticket purchasing limit, account limitation, or other ticket distribution control established and disclosed by the event presenter, venue operator, rights holder, or ticket seller.

(c)Circumvent or disable a security measure, access control system, or other control or measure used to facilitate authorized ticket sales or authorized entry into an event.

(d)Utilize multiple Internet Protocol addresses, multiple purchaser accounts, multiple email addresses, or other technological means to purchase tickets in excess of posted ticket limits or otherwise evade ticket purchasing restrictions established pursuant to subdivision (b).

(e)Use software, services, automated means, or other technological methods to automate, coordinate, facilitate, or otherwise enable conduct prohibited by this section."

Just as in previous years, they have wiped out all the credit card info in the Member ID accounts. You can enter it during checkout, but it's much faster to preload it, and be able to add it in one click. Remember, badges are not held for you while you checkout.

My dream has been to attend SDCC and I'm finally in a good financial situation to afford traveling and attending it so i was thinking of going next year, but just wondering do people fly internationally to attend the con? Especially if anyone from Asia has done it before ?

Haven't gotten notice of professional renewal yet so likely to try for badges from Returning Registration in hopes they'll reimburse me.

Hypothetically, if I were to buy Sunday during returning registration, and Thursday to Saturday during open registration, would I still be able to get Wednesday preview night? Or does the system not like that? Thanks.

Hi Everyone!

I applied for a Professional Badge for the first time as I work in a industry that falls under the "professional" category. Does anyone know the timeline of either "approval" or "denial" of the Professional Badge?

I know the deadline to submit was a few days ago, but I'm wondering when notifications will be sent out about the status because when I log into my account it still says that I am a 2026 Daily Volunteer (I typically volunteer each year which I enjoy and will do again if I'm not selected).

Some of you may have seen in the local news that Starbucks may be closing a location in the Convention Center. I reached to to the Convention Center and asked and, as usual, they were very prompt and helpful.

They confirmed that the Starbucks in Lobby A is closing, but the ones in Lobby C and Lobby E will remain open. They also pointed out to me that for the past several years, the Lobby A location hasn't been open during Comic-Con because that area of the lobby has been used for ADA-related operations and mobility scooters.
