I'm millennial. My dad was a boomer but he didn't hit me. He made me do laborers and chores that were very physically active for a long periods of time like my grandfather did him

My grandfather was a farmer and one of his best punishments was is he would say oh you have enough energy to screw around. You have enough energy to get up before Dawn with me and go till a field or plant it And then you still had to go to school.

You didn't get in trouble with him too often, he was a loving man but yeah you didn't want him being the one to punish you
