Sorry bro, you have no idea what Indian moms and dads are like. I got you beat on this one. Not that this is a competition. I could go through the list of things they did (not just tried - but actually executed), but what's the point.

Oh... It wasn't a one time attempt. The wooden spoon, the belt, the broom, the backhand diamond ring to the face, the hair pulling, the list goes on

Same. In my case the spoon was metal and had been on the stove. It was meant to burn flesh. The belt was with the buckle end, and bitch couldn't aim so it hit my face. Hair pulling was my dad's fav and a punch to the face.
