“Let them eat cake”. The man behind this starved the population of my home state in Africa and fired all the people in government that could hold him accountable for a number of financial crimes. I don’t care if he made a car do a kickflip over a semi.
You are witnessing theft from the poor funding entertainment for the rich. Parasite class indeed.
My home state feeds a good chunk of the surrounding states.. a lot of it out there just rotting as we no longer share it with countries that used to trade more with or receive aid from us. Poor wording on my part using state to mean “US state” as a size comparison and not actually an African nation state. Cutting aid actually hurt American farmers.
