I'm not for this ban, but if you were to make a movie of a grown man sleeping with a child, even if that "child" was a grown actress who just looked young, that movie would still be banned.
Lolits is a pretty well known (and respected) book, as well as two film versions - the earlier one done by Stanley Kubrick and the latter starring Jeremy Irons.
Yeah. I'm pretty sure, if memory serves, that Dominique Swain was actually only 15 when she played the part. So it's just an example of how that sort of movie has actually been made.
