And should I get started on vaccines (that Americans are stupidly shedding out), Pasteurization (that Americans are advocating against) or maybe the literal microscope? The field of Genetics? Dare I even mention Botilinum toxin they are filling their faces with at the White house? The list is endless. And this is only in my field (medicine)

And to answer your question: You would be fully allowed (since we made the first law system) to judge our government in a text (since we invented the first writing system) at the time (since we invented the first time system) we come into your country and steal all its wealth to put it in our banks controlling when you can access it while your population starves. Once that happens, i promise your analogy would be equitable.
