One is illegal, highly unsafe and will never be used in reality, besides milking investors out of even more money and the other one reduces waste

How exactly does it “reduce” waste. The bottle is still plastic. The cap is still there. Now there’s a bit more plastic being used per bottle. Yay.

In my country many areas ask you to remove the lid before recycling bottles.

Yeah it’s 2 different plastic types. They can’t be recycled together. It’s just performative nonsense that actually makes it more complicated to recycle bottles.

Yes and they are in fact separated during the recycling process you baboon. You know what can not be recycled? A bottle cap that is lost in natural environment, which is where plethora of them ended up
