I don’t get how people can’t take it for what it is: a cool stunt for marketing the new roadster. Nobody thinks they’re going to be flipping over semis on the freeway.

I have taken it for a "cool" stunt because that is all it is. But instead of getting better quality cars made, better service centres that will actually live up their promises, they are throwing money at the next car gimmicks.

I mean the new Ys and 3s are nice and affordable. Not sure what improvements you’re wanting for the service centers.

Clearly you have never owned a Tesla then.

I own 2.

Have you never taken them in for service?

Tesla service is the absolute worst. I've heard there are some service centers that are better than others, but as a whole the services slow, poor quality, extremely overpriced, they don't give loaners, still not enough service centers....

Honestly was the whole reason we sold our two ....

No. Have only needed tire rotation so far.

Edit: more info 2024 model 3 and 2026 Y. So, not a long time owner. But, no service needs so far.

Hahaha.

Good luck then. You'll understand soon enough.

Edit: I'll await my apology once you DO understand lol

It's reality. You won't get it right now.

But you will, oh you will....

Maybe a serviceable car where $8k in damage doesn’t total a year old performance Y.

I don’t think 8k would total a Y.

That’s because it was $8k in damages and $30+k in labor.
Their cars simply aren’t cost effective to repair.
