Merci d'avance !

Universities I can target with a 329 GRE and 7.2 CGPA?

Hey
I’m currently pursuing my BTech in Computer Science in India and looking for advice on universities I can realistically target for my master’s in management.
Here’s my profile:
CGPA: 7.2/10
GRE: 329 (166 Verbal, 163 Quant, 4.0 AWA)
Work Experience: None (fresher)
Undergraduate Degree: BTech in Computer Science
I’m looking for universities where I have a realistic chance of admission, considering my CGPA and GRE score. I’d appreciate suggestions for ambitious, moderate, and safe options.
I’d also love to hear from people with similar profiles about their university applications and outcomes.
Any advice on universities worth applying to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How does an international student find affordable housing around paris

Validity of my attestation de prolongation d'instruction

I submitted a request to renew my student residence permit on the ANEF. When I submitted the application, I was missing documents like my pass certificate and my enrollment certificate that I didn't have at that moment. I indicated that I was waiting for my results, and I submitted my first semester transcript and my acceptance letter. My visa has expired and today I received my certificate of extension of processing which I really need, otherwise I will lose my apprenticeship. Two hours later, my application was closed due to missing documents. Is the API no longer valid? What should I do? How long will it take for an agent to reopen my second application file? I thought they always requested additional documents with a deadline before closing it.

Studying in france for an international students

Hi my Dom!

I am a newly graduated high school students from Cambodia and I am planning to continue my undergraduate study in france, majoring in engineering. I took the national curriculum and got a cumulative GPA of 3.6, I have achieved a few achievements like top 10 in 9th grade, top 5 in 12th grade for the national physics competition in my country, also completed in the IPhO and I have just started to learn french. I hope to study in the grand ecole so I would like to know my chances of getting in, requirements and where to apply. ( because I don't know if the french uni have systems like in the US etc)

I would really appreciate all the help from community !!

A little help with French :)

Hi everyone! I'm fluent in French and English and pretty good with words in both, so I can help with French lessons, conversation practice, proofreading, translations, emails, motivation letters, applications, or just figuring out how to phrase something properly in French.

I'm starting out with this and would love to help as many people as I can! I keep my prices very affordable and I'm always happy to discuss them, especially for students since I know budgets can be tight.

I can do everything online, pretty quickly and flexibly. Feel free to DM me if you think I could help with anything!

What're my chances of getting into French Masters?

Hi everyone!

I'm an Aussie who's currently living in France on a Working Holiday Visa and I would love to stay and study here.

What're my chances of getting into a Masters?

  • I have a Bachelor of Commerce (aka. business) from the top university in Australia - majored in Marketing & Management.
  • 67 WAM (Weighted Average Mark) which apparently equates to 13/20 in France. (I partied a lot in first year, grades were very good in third year though)
  • I have 5 years work experience in Marketing at international companies

I would like to do an English-taught course at either Dauphine, Saclay or Paris-EST in Management / Marketing / Business (there are a few courses that I'm keen to apply for).

What're my chances of getting into an M1 do you think?

Also, any chance of direct admission into an M2? Money wise this would help a lot.

Do I have any kind of chance of getting the Eiffel Scholarship (seems to me like a long-shot but the funding would be a massive help...)

Is getting into a Masters in France generally quite difficult?

Also, currently learning French to help with immersion and future hiring prospects.

Thanks for any insight :)

Advice on where to start

Hi everyone, I want to get my Masters in History in France but am not sure where to start. The only programs that come up when I do an online search are Sciences Po and PSL and I was wondering if there are more than that. I also have a small family and was wondering how common or uncommon pursuing a graduate program with a family is and if that would put me behind in terms of acceptance there. I already have the minimum language requirement, I’m just not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

International transfer limits

Hey everyone,

I'm an international student currently in France who just received his bank account at CIC and will soon have another account at BNP.

For those who have been successful at transferring money from home to France, should I be worried about sending any amount that is above 1000 euros at a time ? I am worried about the possibility of triggering the banks anti-fraud system which would lock my funds. I would also like to know more about the papers to prepare for my French bank if they ever ask me about the transfer.

Thanks in advance !

Can someone please check my Motivation Letter

Bonjour everyone!

I’m applying to universities in France for the 2027 intake, and I’m feeling really anxious right now.

My documents were already ready, and I was just waiting to submit my application, but I’ve been dealing with technical issues on the Études en France portal since 1 October. They’ve only just fixed it now, and the delay has really stressed me out.

Now that I’m about to submit my application, I’ve started second-guessing my motivation letter and worrying whether it’s good enough.

So my request is if anyone with experience applying to French universities be willing to review my motivation letter and give me some honest feedback before I submit it? I’d really appreciate another perspective and want to make sure I’m presenting my motivation as convincingly as possible.

Non-EU student in Germany got an internship in France, but facing an issue with the Convention de Stage. Has anyone dealt with this?

TL;DR: I’m a non-EU student pursuing my master’s degree in Germany and have secured a 6-month internship in Paris. To apply for the required French residence permit, I need a Convention de Stage signed by me, my French employer, and my German university. However, my university has stated that it cannot sign any agreement that creates obligations or liabilities for the university. Has anyone faced a similar situation, and how did you resolve it?

Full post:

Hi everyone,

I’m a non-EU international student currently pursuing my master’s degree at a university in Germany. After months of searching, I’ve finally secured an internship opportunity with a French company in Paris, which I’m really excited about.

The internship will last six months, so I understand that I need to obtain the appropriate French residence permit before starting. One of the key documents required for this process is a Convention de Stage, a tripartite internship agreement that needs to be signed by three parties:

  • Me, as the student
  • My French employer
  • My German university

Here’s where I’m facing a problem.

My university advisor has explicitly informed me that neither he nor any other university representative can sign an agreement on behalf of the university if it creates obligations or liabilities for the institution.

I completely understand the university’s position, but I’m now unsure how to proceed. The French employer needs the internship agreement, while my German university is concerned about accepting contractual obligations. I’m worried that this difference in requirements could jeopardize an opportunity I worked hard to secure.

Has anyone here gone through a similar situation?

In particular, I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who:

  • Secured an internship in France while enrolled at a university in Germany.
  • Managed to get a Convention de Stage signed by their university despite similar concerns about legal liability.
  • Found an alternative agreement or a workaround that was accepted by both the French employer and the university.

If you’ve been through this process, I’d be extremely grateful if you could share how you handled it, what documents were required, and whom you contacted for help.

I’m hoping there’s a practical solution that allows me to proceed with the internship without putting either institution in a difficult position.

Thanks in advance for any advice or personal experiences!
