I am a big Star Trek fan which means that my nine year old daughter is subjected to a fair amount of ST material whether she desires it or not. That being said, she has taken a liking to some of it. Not surprising in the least, Lower Decks is at the top of the list. She also spends a good amount of time watching TNG with me. It had me thinking. I have wanted to start a local Star Trek club for a while now but I would also love to make it a family oriented process if possible. Fathers or mothers who are fans with children who may also have an interest. A social club with activities centered in the ST universe. Film and show viewings. Exploration activities. Endless possibilities I would say. Any local parents want to start the USS Syracuse with my little captain and I?

I recently had a foundation repair company give me a quote on installing bracing into my home’s foundation that has some cracks with an area with slight deflection. I want to have a structural engineer come through and give me a realistic report on what work I should get done and also get a couple other quotes before committing to paying the $25k they quoted me. Any recommendations for a structural engineer and/or foundation repair companies for the Camillus area?

Hi! 37f in cicero area but having a really hard time finding places to meet and connect with people. I feel like bars are primarily full of younger party goers so i don't fit in there at all. I've gone to a few local events but it feels like everyone is still in their own bubble in those instances. Dating apps have also been wildly unhelpful. I'm just wanting to make some new friends locally (as opposed to long distance internet friends). Any advice is welcome!

Just saw 6 tour busses with a police escort of 4-5 black SUVs with lights and sirens. Coming off of Molloy and onto 298 headed towards Carrier Circle. My guess is they were coming from the Airfield. Anyone know of who came to town?
