Discussion Peer Groups and Peer Counseling

I (24F) am looking around to see if there are any group counseling or group led discussion events where people can get together and talk about their troubles with others. It doesn’t necessarily have to be led by someone certified and in my case free is always better. I’m just curious if there are ways for people to get together and talk about their troubles.

Things I’m interested in personally:

- anxiety and depression
- ASD
- BPD
- Death, loss, and grief (specifically anxiety around death I haven’t dealt with loss yet)

Any advice would be welcome and others can share their interests as well!

Check out the Front Porch Collective, they do pay what you can grief groups either monthly or every other week (blanking).

Might also want to check out the Helio Recovery Center, they do several groups a day and are also a drop in day center where you can go to just hang out. Staffed almost entirely by peer workers.

Only other guess is Liberty Resources might have group therapy that fits the bill.

I wouldn’t recommend Liberty if you’re autistic. You also have to be a part of their entire system, you can’t choose the help you need.
