You do realize that 1984 is about fascism and not communism, right? (I can’t speak to the other, beyond noting that Stalinism, and its offshoots into the PRC and other “communist” states also are a perversion of Marxist ideals, and in reality closer to fascism than communism, but that’s an argument for another time).

I unfortunately have a family member like that, it's my uncle and he lives with my grandma, Redditor type and 36, he talked her out of a Tesla and into a leased Equinox and I'll still never forgive him for that. She is 65 and has a fear of bridges and certain highways, the last thing she needs is a car without some amount of autonomous driving. The leased Model Y would have been cheaper than the Equinox she ended up with and a better vehicle in every way, but Elon. He is a Reddit Leftist, when we pray at thanksgiving every year he is the only one that doesn't do anything because he "doesn't take part in cults", even my non-religious lesbian cousins at least close their eyes and act like their doing something.

It has to be. At one point I commented in r/aivideos and I immediately got a message from a mod of r/aivideo saying I was banned because I made a comment on the other sub. I had never previously even seen or commented on aivideo but apparently they had a bot setup to scan for any user (on all of Reddit) who commented on the other sub and would auto ban them. Apparently they had a beef with the other sub and had declared war.

Even if you hate EV’s you still can appreciate the amazing human engineering that it took to make a 4 wheeled car fly.
Track nerds are going to love the lap times of this vehicle, although the petrol heads will be pissed that they can’t use the excuse “well Porsche GT3’s are better track cars than EV’s”

Same. Feels weird that I have to preface any tesla related conversations with that I love the car, hate the CEO and the politics. When I test drove it I fell in love. Quiet cabin, small learning curve for the regen braking but absolutely worth it for more relaxing drives, side cameras that eliminate blind spots, surprisingly roomy, fast acceleration. It's a great car.
