TRT help Accidentally left HCG at room temperature for 3 days - is it toast?

I normally leave my Testosterone in a kit with syringes and wipes on the kitchen counter and my HCG (Pregnyll) in the fridge.

This morning as I was prepping everything I realized the Testosterone vial felt cold while the HCG did not. Pretty sure on my last injection 3 days ago I put each of them in the wrong place.

The HCG was opened about 3 weeks ago and has been in the fridge the entire time.

Is this enough to massively degrade the potency?

I was planning to soon preload a bunch of syringes with HCG at the 1 month mark since opening it and freeze them to be able to use it for longer but now I’m wondering if it might have just lost all potency entirely.

TRT help How to get rid of gyno

Is there any way to get rid of gyno without lowering the test dose ? I’m only on 150mg of test and didn’t expect to get gyno when I never had it for 8 months at 200mg . It’s only on my left not my right .

And can gyno be caused by something unrelated to estrogen ?

Blood work Blood Donation Policy Changes

Been on TRT for years. Managed elevated hematocrit levels by donating blood. Stopped by recently for my routine donation and was told that donors on TRT with elevated hematocrit/ hemoglobin levels are no longer allowed to donate. I havent been able to get a straight answer as to why. I am also finding it impossible to find a place to donate short of doing a medical therapeutic phlebotomy. Anyone have any insights or ideas for donations?

PED/cycle story First time trying test e with 16 guage, funny now, painful then

• Upvotes

Just had a random thought/story that I wanted to share.

Back when I was 20, my co worker recommended I try testosterone since he had been on it for a few weeks. We were both corrections officers at the time.

I gave in to curiosity and bought two vials from him but he forgot the syringes at home which was an hour drive

Instead of being patient, I went to Walmart and bought 3 syringes from the pharmacy.

LITTLE DID I KNOW that gauge size makes a huge difference. I had no info or anything and bought 16 guage 1 1/2 inch…….

A fuckin cannon

When I saw the size of the needle (at home), I broke out in immediate sweats just from the sight of it, and
went outside to smoke a 🚬 to calm my nerves

I finally got the courage and jammed it in my right glute and made another mistake by letting the needle go, so it was just dangling in my right glute 🤦‍♂️

Third mistake, I started injecting too fast (remember it’s a fuckin 16 gauge), and had to slow down bc I could literally feel the oil going into the muscle..

Once everything was done, I thought I was good to go until the next day, my entire right hip felt broken and stiff bc of the scar tissue from letting a 16 gauge needle dangle in my glute

Yep, I learned my lesson the hard way 🤦‍♂️😂

Other Lump from test e injection

I’ve never gotten this before but with this new brand of test I’ve pinned it 4 times twice in each glute got the worst pip ever could barely sit down and my shoulders when doing a lateral raise movement kills. Can anyone please advise what I can do to pin this test without getting this or is it just a coincidence of bad pins.

When you start taking TRT how long before your balls shrink assuming no HCG is being used?

Also, how much do they realistically shrink by?

TRT help Help with my husband’s situation

So my 56 year old husband started on testosterone about 4 months ago. He loves the way he feels being on it…however he had labs drawn Friday and his hematocrit is 54. His dosage is 75 mg twice weekly. I’m a RN, I
Do his injections.
So I made him an appointment this morning to donate blood, and they wouldn’t allow for the donation because his blood pressure was too high. It was 195/95. His blood pressure normally isn’t high. When we got home I checked it and it was 145/89…which is still high but not as bad. My question is what to do next. Any suggestions? Wondering if he should just stop these injections, if it’s worth the risk of MI and stroke with elevated hematocrits like this!

TRT help Stopping TRT cold turkey or PCT?

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi, everyone!

I'm sure this question has been asked quite a few times, but I think my situation is not exactly general.
I've been dealing with fatigue, low motivation, depression, injuries, low libido and bad sleep for many years now. Tried lifestyle changes, even went to therapy for 2.5 years, nothing much happened.
SHBG was consistently high, although high carb managed to get it a bit lower. Total T was also very high, but free T still low.
Went to an andrologist, prescribed me TRT. Enanthate 125mg/week, twice a week.
The first few weeks were pretty nice. I had energy again, was able to train like before, was motivated, slept a lot better. But it slowly started to fade.
I'm now a little over 4 months in TRT, and basically back where I was before. Energy is maybe 5-10% better, but libido is gone (damn I don't even care about boobies anymore, please help! 😆 ), sleep is bad again. Yes, my numbers got better, but symptoms are still there. No ED, just very uninterested.
So, I went back to my doc, who prescribed me PCT (clomiphene and hCG) and to stop TRT because it didn't help.
But the whole situation was so... brief and reactive, I wasn't really informed about anything, no discussion of side-effects, alternatives, anything. "Take this, pay, goodbye!"
Is it really necessary to do PCT after "only" 4 months? Especially in my case, where I was able to produce a lot of T? Taking two more meds again with not exactly easy side-effects seems a bit risky. But also, I know that stopping TRT can take a very long time naturally, with also unpleasant side effects.

Has anyone experienced/heard about a similar situation? What would be a less risky / healthier choice?

Thank you very much!

Btw, I'm 34, male, quite lean (190cm/80kg), spent most of my life in a very athletic style until I started having these issues.

Attachhed my pre-TRT and ~3.5 into TRT lab results.

Hear me out — I could use some perspective from anyone who's dealt with this.

45 years old, 6'1", 196 lbs as of this morning. I lift four days a week, I run, and this past year I dialed in my nutrition — high protein, meal prepping the whole deal. Lost 22 lbs with minimal muscle loss, and my smart scale says visceral fat went from 11 to 9.

My issue? Low testosterone. Last June I was at 266. Retested last week: 264. "You're in range," my doctor says. Yeah — the very bottom of every range I've ever been measured against.

Because I went digging through my Quest history, and here's what I found: 2014, at 34 years old, I was at 288. Then 291 in 2021 and 284 in 2022. That's five readings over twelve years, all sitting at the low end. This isn't a bad draw or a bad day. It's a pattern.

Symptoms? Fatigue in the afternoons; libido still there to be honest, mood swings, fat on my mid section and brain fog.

I'm 45 and done having kids, so I'm weighing my options. A TRT clinic seems like the path of least resistance; going through my insurance looks like a pain. Going greay has crossed my mind

Photo is from this morning after my long run. Face blurred, tattoos out — nothing to hide.

If you've been through this — clinic, urologist, insurance route — what actually worked for you? What was your total T when you started?

Transgender HRT help strange reaction of my body to the injections, the first one went perfectly without any complications and the next two look like this

I take testosterone, 3/4 of an ampoule, every two weeks as prescribed by my doctor. I administer the injections myself and take every precaution regarding sterility. The first injection left no trace, but the second was a disaster. A spreading, itchy, and enlarged spot under the skin. It went away for a while before my next injection, so I decided it was a one-off reaction. Everything was fine during the third injection, but the next day, my thigh looked like this: itchy again, and I'm worried again. Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I see my family doctor or my endocrinologist?

Blood work 4 months on TRT — feeling amazing, but hematocrit at 54%. Thoughts?

43M, started TRT about four months ago after testing very low for testosterone. Currently taking 140 mg/week of testosterone cypionate, split into two 70 mg subcutaneous injections.

The improvements have been incredible: much higher libido, dramatically less anxiety, better mood and outlook on life, more energy and motivation, increased confidence, better workouts, noticeable muscle growth, and improved sleep. I genuinely feel like I’ve gotten my old self back.
LABS (Before TRT → Now):

Total Testosterone: 169 → 832 ng/dL
Free Testosterone: 46.39 → 257.54 pg/mL
Estradiol (E2): 12.4 → 33.8 pg/mL
SHBG: 12.7 → 13.0 nmol/L
LH: 3.2 → <0.3 mIU/mL
Hematocrit: 44.9% → 54.0%

A few details: Blood was drawn within 24 hours of my last injection. I’d been sick all week with diarrhea, possibly related to tirzepatide. I also drank alcohol the night before, was fasting during the test, and have been working about 100 hours/week lately. No symptoms associated with the elevated hematocrit.
I’m wondering how much dehydration contributed to my HCT. Planning to rehydrate, avoid alcohol, and retest next weekend. Also discussing a possible reduction from 140 mg to 100 mg/week with my prescriber.

Would appreciate any general advice or experiences from others with similar labs, particularly around managing hematocrit while maintaining the benefits of TRT.

I feel better than I have in years and really want to keep it that way while staying healthy long-term.

TRT help Pre loading syringes ?

Have been doing daily pins using 27g insulin syringes loading 7 of them each Sunday.

Is this an issue? Or common practice?

And is there a general rule of thumb for how long you shouldn’t keep the oil in there?

PED/cycle help Coming off testosterone e 300 mg total weekly, to fully natural ( I need guidance )

Hey so I’ll try to explain my situation as quickly as possible.

I’m a relatively young guy, aged around 19 ( yes I know I’m young to be doing this stuff ) and I decided to fully not use testosterone anymore. I already was a relatively built guy with high natural testosterone, around 950-1000 ng.

I was ALWAYS obsessed with the gym, before on anything I would go everyday without hesitation , even doing cardio almost everyday I was motivated to do my shit done. I’ve been lifting 5 years prior and the gym was never an issue for me. now for almost a year ( been on since march) my experience has been obviously improved and obsessed. It felt like going to the gym was a hobby of mine I never even thought about skipping a single day.

Now that things have changed, short story I’m coming off due to family reasons and I wouldn’t be on it anymore.

Since the first 2 weeks I’ve been off I’ve heavily noticed that my motivation completely dropped.. like fully. Me going or even thinking about the gym just makes me feel like I’m forcing myself, I have to use all my willpower .

I’ve noticed that I gotten severe depression due to this and I need guidance to somehow prevent this if possible or I just have to be patient and wait till my natural testosterone levels reproduce back to where it was and I am planning to take enclomophine on the 4th week.

Please, if anyone dealt with this type of situation before I need some guidance that’ll keep me back on track otherwise I feel empty and depressed that this has happened to me.

TRT help Common questions about low Test

Been having bad symptoms for quite some time now. Weight gain, muscle loss, severe fatigue, brain fog, and lower sex drive. I count calories and macros but just kept gaining weight and losing muscle. Not as active as I used to be but still didn’t think the work I put into the gym and playing soccer matched my results at all.

Decided to get tested and my testosterone was at 316, I’m 25 years old so seems low from what I’ve read though I’m technically still in “normal” range. My vitamin D was a bit low (27) and my primary thinks this is the issue and told me to take some vitamins.

A friend of mine also has low T and he buys stuff off of kits4less and says he’s never felt better. I just don’t want to take testosterone without medical supervision but also don’t wanna pay crazy out of pocket prices. I’ve seen some men’s health clinics (trt nation or talon wellness) that seem interesting but honestly if I have to inject test to feel normal again, I really wouldn’t mind injecting enough to feel amazing (have my levels around the upper limits, 800-1000 range). Pretty new to all this and clueless. Will take any advice and appreciate the help.
