Other Why are some people on reddit so angry about other people taking TRT?

What if a 20 year old kid who has natural T of 600, took TRT and now they are sitting in 1200s and their life is better and they get better gains in the gym.

Why is that so bad? okay it shuts down the natural production, so what? they are taking TRT so they don't need the natural production anymore.

What is it that bothers some people so much here? why would you feel bad if someone is on TRT even if they don't "need" it?

People are so pissed that the clinics are prescribing TRT to younger folks who don't need it...
Why can't we just accept the free will of others, they are above 18, so it's their choice! 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Edited!!

200mg weekly pen. Genuinely want to know if getting this is safe or if I should stick to my much more costly local pharmacy. This is not an ad will not be sharing the suppliers details so don’t ask.

Other How did Dwayne Johnson's physique change between his early WWE years and his film roles?

Comparing his early WWE photos with his later movie roles, his build looks very different. For anyone who follows his training, what has he said about how he got there: his workout programming, diet, recovery, and whether he has discussed any performance-enhancing drugs himself? There was a huge transformation!

TRT help Getting off TRT to have children

Little background, i’ve been in law enforcement for about 7 years now, started in my early 20s and favored night shift. It was in a big city, so always busy and i felt like a kid just staying up all night and didn’t think much about it. Around 27yo i started feeling like absolute shit and gaining weight, so i’d get tested just to see my level. From 27-29 i was constantly below 250. My pcp went out of business at 29 and i just needed a yearly checkup so i went to another spot, and they decided i should consider trt. I’ve been on TRT since November 2025, with a dosage of 120mg weekly (split) from a 200mg vial and 50 units of Gonadorelin x2 weekly, i quickly boosted back up to about 800-900, and feel great. I’ve lost about 40lbs, but am by no means pushing it in the gym or anything crazy, though i should. I’ve been on day shift for about a year ish but it looks like i may be going back to nights depending on department movement this next month or so.

I’m currently looking at getting engaged, and we’d like conceive hopefully by end of next year. The Dr recommended starting to lean off now, and start HCG (which i would have preferred to take from the start regardless).

My question, if i start hcg now, can i stay on trt until april/may, maybe even bump up the dosage for a bit and slowly bring it down or should i do as recommended and start coming off it now, slowly? Or is this one of those, purely on how your body reacts kind of things?

PED/cycle help 2 weeks in at 240mg a week and feel like shit.

Hey, I'm 38, weigh 82kg and am around 13% bf

Just started a low dose cycle of testosterone cyp, injecting 3 x 80mg a week.

I have a smart watch which tracks health metrics and have noticed my rhr has risen, now I understand that my body will take time to adjust and stabilise itself due to the introduction of testosterone. But I have had a rise in rhr and a crash in hrv. My BP is OK at 125/65, my rhr has gone from 52-55 to 64-69.

2 weeks in and every morning my watch tells me to rest and take it easy, I'm feeling more and more tired as the days go by despite getting 7 hours sleep.

I'm starting to feel like my CNS is so stimulated that when I'm sleeping my body isn't really resting. I'm surprised at what would be considered such a low dose for a cycle.

Question is, do I,

A. Keep going and trust that it'll level out and I'll feel better in a few weeks once my body has adjusted to the new level of testosterone.

B. Lower the dose and hope that helps, although I'd just be going into trt territory then.

C. Abort cycle.

I was planning to get bloods at 6 weeks, but now considering getting them at 4 and maybe then again at 8weeks.

Below is my baseline bloods, prolactin was high on this test which I went to the Dr and got another test which showed to be back in normal range (200ish) and also my hct is 51% on this test but I'm pretty sure I was dehydrated and all previous tests have shown around 47%-48%. Also I have made an effort to drink 5litres a day and lots of omega fish oil.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Scientific Studies Hibiscus and testosterone

Has anyone seen a decline in testosterone after drinking hibiscus tea regularly?

My LH and testosterone dropped, and this is one of the culprits I suspect.

Research is mixed. Some mouse studies showed a decline in testo and LH, but they used high-dose extracts, not tea.

I’ll probably try pausing it for a while, but I’m curious to hear other n=1 stories.

Thanks!

Other Help with testosterone

Right so im 36 im sick of having low testosterone in the uk but the doctors will not treat me despite feeling depressed, having no libido and lost all the motivation for the gym because of it. Want to sleep all day i dont want to lift weights hardly anynore. Feel weak moody upset and tired of life. Dont trust ugls. My levels are just on the threshold. Im 300 total testosterone, they will not give the trt no matter how much i am suffering because they treat numbers not symptoms.

What can i do to being that number down further so they have no choice but to treat me. I read that taking dbol on its own will bring my levels down. Can someone with knowledge help me because im going to do this anyway but some advice would be needed. This is my life and ill be damned if im going to continue living feeling this way.

TRT help Help CYCLE TESTO + HGH + PRIMO + RETA

Hi, I’m currently on my first cycle. I’m using a testosterone blend (250 mg), Primobolan (100 mg), growth hormone, and Retatrutide. During the first month, I didn’t follow my diet perfectly—I fell short on some protein and carbohydrates because I hadn’t bought a food scale yet—but that only happened during that first month. I mentioned this to my trainer, and he said it wasn’t an issue; in fact, he claimed it was actually better. That said, I’ve been training with great intensity at the gym throughout this first month, lifting heavy weights—for instance, I was lifting 70 kg on a Hammer Strength machine. I’m now in the seventh week of my program, but I’m not seeing good results. My body measurements have increased, but there’s been no visible change in my physique or aesthetics; I still have a high amount of body fat, although I have lost 2.5 to 3 centimeters off my waist. I’m worried that I might be doing something wrong. What do you think? I’ve been training naturally for two years... For reference, over the last FIVE weeks, my chest measurement has increased by four centimeters, I gained 4 centimeters on one bicep and nearly two on the other, and reduced my abdomen by two centimeters.

TRT help Erections have gone away since I started using gel

TRT help (28M) What to expect when starting TRT?

Hi all, I (28M) have recently started pursuing treatment for my Primary Hypogonadism, and now that I have completed all the bloodwork, all the scans, the lot, I assume my Endocrinologist will start a treatment plan but I would just like to know what to expect, whether it's generic changes or things you have personally noticed that either improved, got worse, anything. I'm a curious person and would love to hear what you have experienced when starting. :)

Bloods are significantly better than natty, basically was hypogonadal + high ldl + high bp + hypo thyroid

doc is chill with what im on considering my pre enhanced bloodwork

Go ahead and say what you want but I think it’s wrong to say you have to ā€œunlockā€ enhancement in life especially when you need them šŸ‘

Life is improved in virtually every way. I suggest everyone get their bloodwork done because sometimes even a healthy lifestyle won’t fix genetic disadvantages

Yall can dnr this but the before picture is me after lifting for 2 years thinking I had literally the worst muscle building genetics on earth, turns out my genes hated the hell out of producing testosterone!

TRT help Need help with adding HCG to TRT

I’ve been running 120mg a week (60mg twice a week Tuesday and Friday) for the past year with just Test C. Everything was going fine, total was 850 and free around 220 with estrogen at 20 (range 18-40). I occasionally use .25 anastrozole to help with estrogen. So I decided to add HCG (.15 in an insulin syringe Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) about a week and a half ago which honestly has helped a lot with the brain fog and overall mental clarity. I really like it, the Problem is out of nowhere my left pec has really been hurting and itchy, mainly on the side of the leg and outside part of the nipple. idk how to check for gyno or what to do but I took .75mg total of anastrozole this week. Does everyone have trouble with managing estrogen when adding HCG to TRT and also any advice with this nipple and pec stuff would be great. Also wanted to add, yes this is monitored by a doctor as well.

TRT help Am I a non responder?

I’m a 26 year old guy who’s struggled with low testosterone since I was at least 18. When I was 20 I got on 1000 IU a week HCG mono therapy as a ā€œnaturalā€ alternative to TRT to aid my testosterone levels. Which were around the high 200s at the time. HCG was like a miracle for about 3 months. I felt fantastic and the ā€œHigh Tā€ sensation was very distinct. It brought me to the low 800s and it radically altered my eyebrows, body hair, confidence, energy levels, increased MPB and eventually raised my estrogen. Long story short on my 3rd month the dosage from my provider changed and I never felt the same. Not even close. It was like a light switch. I tried experimenting with estrogen blockers, higher dose, lower dose but I continued to feel awful. I got off shortly after and didn’t try anything again until this year.

About 4 months ago I went back to the same provider and got on the exact protocol I tried 6 years ago. Once again almost immediately I was left with a ā€œlow Tā€ anxiety ridden feeling. I pushed it for 2 weeks and eventually couldn’t take it anymore. Although my estrogen stayed within normal levels the entire 2 weeks. Fast forward to two weeks ago and I’m with a new provider and they’ve prescribed me a full on TRT protocol. I inquired on why I had such an abrupt change in reaction to HCG but they had absolutely no idea.
My current protocol is
HCG 250IU Twice a week
Testosterone cypionate 140mg a week split into two doses

I opted to stay on HCG solely to preserve testicular function in the case that this doesn’t work. I’m currently over 2 weeks in and so far I feel the worst that I ever have in my life. I even stopped HCG after the first week and continued with only Test. But I’m here with Unbelievable brain fog, anxiousness , insomnia and just a general low confidence soft spoken feeling. I’m really struggling and my current Dr is set on my giving the protocol 8 weeks before bloodwork or changing anything.

My question to anyone reading this is could there be any reason why I’m seemingly rejecting HCG? What mechanism or system could be contributing to this? I assumed that jumping on TRT would essentially bypass this issue. Obviously I’m only two weeks in but I’m not sure how much longer I can tolerate feeling this way. The only other variable I can add is that I’ve had low cortisol issues in the past. Any help or thoughts on why I’m seemingly so non responsive would be greatly appreciated.

And I am not overweight and I generally eat very clean. I don’t drink or do any kind of recreational drugs.

TRT help Is TRT the way for me?

So for context , my last 2 labs are 37 and 22 on e2, 78 and 64 nmol for SHBG, 860 and 950 ng for total T and 10 to 10 ng for free T. Have didficulty losing fat and building muscle but main issue is mental. Would TRT be of any help for me on these levels? I visited a doc and he gave me 6500 IE weekly hcg to "shock" the testes to get them to produce more T in hopes of upping free T, he said he did it for fertility preservation and so that it doesnt have permanent effects, he also gave an AI to manage the estorgen spike on it, still havent used his therapy. Wouldnt just injecting Testosterone on trt doses while doing hcg better and more predictable for both goals? Fertility is a big if but quality of life is more important at this point. Anyone in similar ranges had a good experience? Is e2 really that important and how is it ideal? In case of TRT should I do my docs arimidex? Thanks guys

Other I was about to start Finasteride, but then…

Really want to start but scaremongering has got me second guessing. I do not want to invalidate what you’re living if you have pfs, but it doesn’t look a real thing. I know what these people are going through is horrible, just can’t see the connection to the drug supported by evidence.
I bought tablets for at least 3 months.
What up with all the fuss about side effects?
It sounds horrible, but I look at it and I can’t see how it’s not just a non treatment related symptom. The stats are like changing from 2 to 3/100 respect to placebo in a population, as much. It’s hard to think at it as not being by chance.

Blood work I have 787 ng/dl Total Testosterone at age 30M

Hi, I am going through a divorce. Today I had blood test and everything except Total Testosterone and Vitamin D is abnormal as per a lab technician. My T is 787 ng/dL and my vitamin D is 10.5 ng/mL. FSH is 2.58 mlU/mL. Vitamin B12 is 411 pg/mL

I am losing a lot of hair. Like 150-200 per day. It must be Telagen effluviam. Will visit a doctor soon

Is this testosterone high for my age? I heard excess gets converted into estrogen. So yeah, I have a bit of gyno although I am athletic build.

Is there any issues with backfilling testosterone?

I use 23g to pull out and use a 31g needle subq to inject.

Is there any downsides to this like testosterone becoming worse quality during that movement in between syringes or just anything to look out for?

Thanks

TRT help Follow-up: 10 weeks on TRT, 0 mental benefits or libido. Need advice on my labs, please.

Hey everyone,

This is a follow-up to my last post. I've now done my blood tests at 10 weeks of TRT. Same as before, I feel zero mental benetits, O libido, and low energy. The only real change is that I've noticed I'm more muscular, but to be fair, my diet and workouts are completely dialed in.

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my current response. My doctor appointment is in 2 weeks, so l wanted to share my before-and-after labs to see what you guys think and if you have any advice. I currently pin 14MG a day subq. Roughly 100MG a week.

My Recent Labs (10 Weeks on TRT):
Total Testosterone: 24.1 mol/L (695 ng/dL)
Free Testosterone: 594 pmol/L
SHBG: 27.3 nmol/L
Estradiol: 109 pmol/L
Hematocrit: 0.481 L/L (Hemoglobin: 153 g/L)
Ferritin: 54 ug/L
WBC: 3.7 x E9/L (slightly low)
LH: <0.1 IU/L FSH: <0.2 IU/L
Prolactin: 8.2 ug/L
TSH: 0.89 mlU/L

My Old Labs (Before TRT):
Total Testosterone: 12.3 nmol/L (355 ng/dL)
Free Testosterone: 263 pmol/L
LH: 3.5 IU/L FSH: 2.7 IU/L
Estradiol: 103 pmol/L
Prolactin: 6.2 ug/L
TSH: 1.24 mlU/L

Has anyone experienced Has anyone experienced a similar disconnect where your body responds physically with muscle growth, but your brain and libido completely ghost you even with good testosterone levels? Any advice or insights on my labs before I see my doc in 2 weeks would be hugely appreciated! I wanted to avoid increasing dose as I still get cystic acne at 39 years of age.

Been goofing around coming up with projects to 3D print and whipped this together over a few days. It uses a cheap temperature controller and a strip heater to warm up vials of oil to reduce the viscosity. I’m super stoked about how it turned out!

TRT help Blood donation issue

I recently had my bloods done and the results were;

Haematocrit (HCT) - 0.563 L/L
Haemoglobin (HGB) - 176 g/L
Red Blood Cell Count (RBC) - 6.21

I tried to donate blood but it’s always a challenge to find a vain and even when they did, it just wouldn’t flow. The nurse actually showed me that the blood had quickly clotted (it was handing out the needle when she took it out).

I’m assuming this isn’t a great sign but does anyone have any tips to get it flowing? I tried a couple of pints of water prior.

Thanks.
