What does work is just assuming that, because this is a memory in Jax's mind, it's not a perfect representation of what happened and Jax's memories got mixed up a bit.
I like to imagine that Zooble was running on pure fight AND flight when they pulled up. probably had to be forced into their first first adventures cause they refused to accept it, in short, very little changed 😭
Zooble was likely the last one to join before Pomni since Caine says something along the lines of "Everything was fine before you and Zooble appeared" in episode 8
Zooble was the last person to appear before Pomni. It was mentioned by the creators, and Jax's comment in episode 8 ("everything was fine until you and Zooble showed up") canonizes that in-show.
That too! And plus, even with how advanced he is, the entirety of the circus was created by Caine, therefore created by AI and well, Ai as far as we know it ain’t exactly perfect.
Well, who knows when the new character shows up after the human puts on the headset? Maybe Caine queues them up or makes sure their avatar is perfect for the mind file before spawning them in the circus?

This is why it's hard to hyperanalyze everything. I think everyone at that time is trying to rush the movie for theatrical release and minimize leaks so QA will be extremely limited before final rendering.
On the plus side, this could be explained away as Jax having an imperfect memory and filling in the gaps with current knowledge regardless of how consistent it is chronologically.

Ehh, I don't know if that checks out. Raggy seemed surprised to see that Pomni already had a room after arriving. If it had been there in waiting, she would have known exactly where it would be. Plus, Caine does not struggle to create. It's what he does.
Retcon: The files were already there but inaccessible, there was already data for them and an idea of what they would look like but weren't fully implemented.
Is this before or after Ribbit abstracted? Because I know Zooble (i think) was the latest pre-Pomni circus member, so this couldn't, fully be a continuity error if you stretch a bit. Or this is before Gangle appeared and now Goose has to remake the entire series from the beginning.
What? Those are the doors of Jangle and Trooble. They always kept to themselves but we're there during Kaufmo and Ribbit's tenure in the Circus. Their fates were confirmed in the Amazing Digital Circus visual novel that released a few months back, but its part of the hardest route in the game, so I don't expect everyone to know about them.
The rooms would later be repurposed by Caine for Gangle and Zooble.

Plausible in-universe explanation:
These are Jax's memories, and memories warp and deteriorate over time. The hallway where Gangle's and Zooble's pictures are on the doors are the ones Jax has the most recent memories of.
So it's not implausible for Jax's memory to be slightly inaccurate, showing a more recent version of the background environment than what was accurate during the event.
Of course, the real explanation is animator mistake. But it's fun to try to pseudoscience our way out of it. Like solving a puzzle.
