Personal Random Dormancy
Hi, this is the host here. We don’t post here often but I just wanted to ask for some advice . We were formerly a system of 5. (Four tulpas and myself the host .) But unfortunately one of my head-mates went dormant yesterday. Which has been a bit hard on us . It wasn’t expected. We all really miss him. We just stopped hearing a response from him and stopped feeling his presence. I’m unsure if he went dormant or just fused or dissipated but whatever the case is his presence isn’t around in the headspace anymore nor do we hear his voice. One of my tulpas (Ruby) is now terrified of going dormant and disappearing out of existence randomly herself. She had a small panic attack because of it. However I have reassured her that won’t happen and that she’s safe and cared for by me and the others in the system. Has another else experienced something like this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. - Mya (Host)

Some tulpa just go dormant or step away for a bit and it doesn't mean they're gone forever
As long as a headmate is remembered they can never be truly lost or "gone"
Give it time and maybe they'll come back or maybe you can go looking for them

[Hiiiii Razia here, I'm a tulpa and I can assure all of you that this is a pretty normal thing for us. It happens to me from time to time, usually when We wrecks our sleep schedule and wake up at a weird time. I tend to come back hours later. Sometimes Arash will start calling out my name and sorta "pull me out of the waters" if you know what I mean]
Coming from a host, the empty feeling is real asf. I can't feel Razia's influence at all when she goes off. But rest assured, Ruby is still there. Give them time or, well, try poking around for them if you feel as if it's been too long.

I went dormant for longer periods of time dozens of times. Erasing or loosing neuronal connections completely is very difficult and unlikely to happen. So even if you lost the connection atm your tulpa will be still there and can get back to activity.

Hehe, something similar happens to me with Yuki. Sometimes when I wake up, she's still lying next to me, asleep. In those cases, I have two options: I wake her up while mentally watching her and use Somatic touch, she insults me for waking her up, sometimes she ignores me... (lately she's been in tsundere mode XD) And if not, I let her sleep until she "wakes up" on her own, which at those moments is pure randomness.
