Work Discussion Cop pulled me over in mail truck🤔.

I was going over the speed limit in the mail truck doing my usual Amazon Sunday and the cops decided to pull me over. Now I’m not sure what the rules are on that but I figured I would post here and see if anyone else has experienced this as I have never been pulled over in the 4 years I’ve been with the post office. He gave me a warning and told me to slow down and I said I would. But is this a common thing and what is everyone else’s opinions or insights on this?

They'll leave you alone for partially blocking a street for a min to hop packages, for being in a handicap spot for the same thing/drop off business mail, or being double parked to deliver an apartment complex as long as you're not obstructing traffic.

But speeding, they will still enforce. No reason to speed and if something happens and it's revealed to be because of your speed, PO going to try to wash their hands of responsiblity.

Totally understandable today was just one of those days where I was extra heavy footed. But yea totally I get it and I know he’s got a job to do as well no matter who or what entity I work for.

Also your scanner will track your speed so management will have evidence against you. Just take your time, it takes what it takes and we're paid by the hour.

Yea I’m rural so it is evaluated for us unless I go over a good amount.
