POLS 1000 Midterm with dr Brooks

I just saw the announcement on brightspace and got my midterm grade back (79%) and was wondering how you all did? he said the class did well, is 79% well? (i dont think it is 💀) also how did you all find the midterm? (personally I found the multiple choice so much harder than the essay portion) also for those in richez class hows it going so far? (ik the midterm is on monday (good luck btw))

79% is pretty good for a uni class average! Youll have to get used to harder marking now that youre out of highschool.

I had Brooks last year in a different class and I can tell you that his multiple choice questions were harder than I expected as well.

It’s not bad, good for a first midterm. I’m sure the next you will do better, since u know what you’re going into. His multiple choice can be tricky, I found what helped me was going with what my gut said immediately and not double checking (idk the more I would read the better the options sounded, and I was almost always was right on the first instinct).
