My daughter was accepted to UK into the Nursing program. She is debating joining the healthcare LLP, if nothgin more than to give her the oppurtunity to get into either a 2 bedroom dorm room or a 2 bedroom by 3 person dorm room. She is already on MyUK and has registered for orientation and filled out the housing applicaiton the day it opened. She really would like to live in a dorm room but have some privacy for studying, and quiet time. Guidance on joining the healthcare LLP and chances of getting either a 2 bedroom dorm or a 2 bedroom by 3 persson dorm room?

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding the Common App. There was no option for me to self-report SAT scores on the Common App for UK, but it was an option for the other schools I’m applying to. Does UK just simply not accept self-reported scores, or should I contact the admissions office?

My daughter is looking around at apartments for next year. She has three friends she will room with so they would like a four bedroom. Anyone have any good/bad experiences with any particular complex? Ideally it would be a walk to campus, washer/dryer in unit, and a safe area. We're looking to spend around $1000 a month.

I’m transferring out of the University of Kentucky for the spring semester and am looking for someone to take over my lease from January 1, 2027 through July 31, 2027.
Townhomes at Newtown Crossing
843 S Broadway, Lexington, KY 40504
4 Bed / 4.5 Bath townhome
Parking included
$899/month — reduced from the normal $959 rate
Lease runs January 1 – July 31, 2027
Roommates are good
Unit is in decent condition
I received the reduced rate when I renewed, so the rent is already below the normal rate.
Message me if you’re interested or would like more information/photos!

Doing a group project on student experience in campus housing and got a survey for students to fill out to collect data. We’d appreciate it if any of y’all can take the time to fill it out. Completely anonymous and takes about 2 minutes

After being at the stadium on Saturday had me looking at the end zone seating. How cool would it be to add about 5k seats above the box suites? I think it would make the stadium that much louder. Let’s make them chair back too! What do you all think?

Hello everyone! I recently got accepted to major in physics at UK. I am in great need of financial aid. I'm looking to apply for the Lunsford Scholarship on scholarship universe.
Does anyone have any tips on applying? I know it is very selective, so I'm being very meticulous with this one. I can give background info if needed.

Hey everyone! I'm an alumni who hasn't been back to LEX for the better part of a decade now. I have a bunch of LSU grad friends that are coming up with me for the game on Saturday, and they've asked me to show them around town & campus.
I figured Saturday afternoon I'd give them the general walking tour as long as the weather holds up - Sqecial's and the record store on S Limestone, The Student Center and 88.1WRFL, POT Patterson statue, Whitehall (is it accessible while under construction rn??), outside of Memorial Hall, make our way to Willy T and stop outside my old dorm on the way, ending up near the stadium before game time.
Is there anything I'm not remembering or that has been added to campus that I should show everyone? Has parking improved at all (lmao) - like will I probably be all good to park at S Limestone while we walk campus, before moving the car to official parking?
For restaurants this weekend I'm definitely planning on taking them to at least Joe Balognas, maybe Local Taco if it's not too slammed, Crank & Boom and the distillery district at some point, and maybe the Chevy Chase area.
Also thought it might be cool to see the midnight hockey game Saturday night, but I can't remember how much that usually cost or how early to get there to avoid it selling out - if anyone would be willing to share answers to those :)
Thanks, and Go Cats!
---
Edit to add: Might have them swing by Red Mile one night. Also, I never actually got the chance to visit Keeneland during my UK tenure (thanks COVID) so that's a possibility for Friday - I just have no experience lol
Also, one of them just asked me to see Cocaine Bear lmaooo

Hey everyone! My girlfriend really likes UK volleyball and we are going to the game against LSU on Friday. Can somebody who follows the team tell me any info about the team? Who are the best players? What's going on with the team? Injuries? I know Brooklyn Deleye and Skinner is the coach but thats it! Thanks!
