A user on XHS made a comparison of LADS revenue based off AppMagic data for App Store and Google Play. I tried as best as I can to differentiate the different servers of the Nikki-franchise. With third Love Nikki-server I wasn’t so sure if it was the Taiwanese or Japanese one that’s earning more revenue. Because Love Nikki currently has six active servers. Papergames current oldest playable Nikki-game "Hello Nikki", the second game of the franchise, is also only playable on CN-platforms, so it’s not listed.

Main Question: In my opinion, I like to think his birthday is either in December or January. I don’t know why but I’ve always liked the idea of his birthday being in the winter since certain wolves tend to stay active and thrive the most in the winter time.

An afterthought for those who still have a bit of hopium left in them: Also, the misty invasion re-run ends the 27th which means they should have some sort of announcement of what they’ll be doing next before it ends right? The next full moon is really close, so hopefully they’ll finally say something then instead of constantly leaving us in the dark (like always).

I was looking at my weather app to see if tomorrow would be a “wear a sweater in the morning then regret it in the afternoon” type of day when I randomly remembered how pretty the moon looked 2 nights ago. So I looked at when the next full moon would be and out of curiosity I googled the type of moon it will be, and let’s just say the results have me sniffing hopium once more. Since it’s a hunters moon will us Ms. Hunters finally get answers?!

It got me excited for a bit because of the moon watch party with the whole super moon thing if I’m remembering correctly, but upon doing more of my own googling and clicking articles about moons I learned the next super moon is actually gonna be the November 24th also called the beaver moon. And even more digging had me learning that the full moon that will happen in January 22nd, which will be a wolf full moon. NOW ☝️ many players have said they will not have the mental strength to keep boycotting and sticking around after the anniversary, and inflop might not wanna have 2 quarters in a row performing poorly and might return Valko to us by this year. I do however see an alternate timeline where they finally address us players on the hunter moon regarding Valko, give us Sylus’s branch story in November, and relaunch Valko next year on the wolf full moon. This is all just a theory folks,~~ a game theory aaaaand cut~~

I am completely unable to function due to the grief of losing Valko. I want to channel these emotions into doing something productive for the cause.

What can we do to get him back? Just posting on Twitter/TikTok comment sections isn’t getting us a response. The devs are waiting us out, that much is obvious. We need to push forward some. Make them address what happened and why.

I don’t know if we need another billboard or a big display somewhere, or to contact more gaming news sites or what, but it feels like just sitting around is getting us nowhere.

Can we all brainstorm what can be done to (calmly, respectfully, and reasonably) get Infold to look at us? Please? We need to change tactics, as this isn’t working. I’m happy to do whatever I can to help bring our wolf home!

Mentally I walked away from the community and deleted the game in September when the spicy multi was released, but I do enjoy checking out the CN community on XHS from time to time to see how the Valkyries have been holding up and saw this discussion. For anyone who is still hanging around: Are you gonna keep waiting and fighting if nothing happens by the end of this year?

Let’s be completely real for a second. I absolutely hate Infold right now, especially with everything going on with Valko and this community.

People are acting like extremes like the tags are going to personally invite intervention and shut the entire game down overnight. No, that is pure doomposting and fearmongering.

It is incredibly difficult—almost impossible—to bring down a multi-million dollar company over a six-month timeline. Papergames is massive; they can easily absorb the financial shock of this backlash. They aren't going bankrupt tomorrow, and the servers aren't vanishing.

However, what they can’t buy back is what matters most:

What Infold Can Survive :

Financial drops (if they manage well)

Social media review-bombinh

Short-term community anger

What Infold Actually Lost:

Player trust

Global reputation

Long-term player loyalty

Infold has the financial stability to withstand the current backlash, but re-establishing long-term credibility and trust within the community will be a significant challenge moving forward. These are just my thoughts, triggered by the random appearance of P!nk’s song What About Us on my YouTube homepage, which I think perfectly describes our current situation with Valko and Infold, so please be kind. Also, yeah, I’m a Sylus main, but I’m pro-Valko and really want him back in the game, so please don’t come at me in the comments.

Since June 30, when Valko was canceled, I’ve felt like everything about this game, this fandom, and this community has changed and fallen apart, perhaps irreversibly. I feel like nothing is the same anymore, and I’m really scared of what the future holds, because I never would’ve thought that this company, which gave us so much good through Love and Deepspace for two and a half years—of course, despite the predatory gacha mechanics and stuff locked behind a paywall, because unfortunately, that’s how these types of games operate—could mess things up so badly.

Initially, I wasn’t too thrilled by the news of a new Love Interest, but when I saw the trailer for Valko at work, dang, I was instantly hooked. Even though I knew he wouldn’t be my main, I was genuinely incredibly excited for his release, and the news of his sudden cancellation came like a bolt from the blue and left me extremely shocked and saddened. The first thing I saw was the Letter to All Players, and I didn’t learn the full context until later, thanks to content creators on YouTube, which, honestly, shocked and saddened me even more. Although I have to admit, our fandom coming together during the initial months of the boycott was one of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed this year.

For the past few months, I’ve been following all the news on YouTube, relying solely on content from Love and Deepspace-related channels and completely shutting out all the negativity on other platforms for the sake of my own mental health. It felt like the longer it went on, the worse it became. And this already bad-enough situation has been made even worse by Infold’s radio silence, even if it was justified by legal activities taking place in the shadows.

And now I feel like all of us—both the silent boycotters, which include me, and the vocal, active ones—have hit an impenetrable wall we can’t get through. Because what’s the point of constantly shouting in the comments on official posts and writing messages to Customer Service when we’re being actively ignored and dismissed? Initially, in July, it felt great to me because it represented dedication and everyone in the fandom coming together. But now, in October, it feels more like wasted energy and needless straining of our throats, because what’s the point of trying if no matter what we do, we’re not being heard?

These comments used to give me strength, but now, for some reason, they’re incredibly irritating and exhausting, because how long can we do this? Why are we even doing this? What’s the point of groveling and begging for something that’s been clearly communicated to us as something that won’t happen? I don’t know—I’m probably just tired of this constant back-and-forth, because on the one hand, I’d love to keep demanding Valko’s return and keep hoping for him to be added back to the game, but on the other, I feel like giving up completely because I feel like this isn’t getting us anywhere and won’t change anything. Infold has already made its stance on this matter clear, and it’s constantly showing us through its actions—or rather, lack thereof—that it has no intention of doing anything about it.

I’m scared for Love and Deepspace. Revenue is declining, Valko is still gone, and everything seems to be coming to an end. Everything has changed, and it doesn’t sit right with me, even though Infold is releasing content “normally” and trying to act like nothing happened, when the damage has already been done and it’s doing absolutely nothing to fix it.

On the one hand, I think their best option would be to add Valko back to the game, but on the other, I feel like it wouldn’t really change much, as the milk has already been spilled, the fandom has split, and our trust in Infold has evaporated. I’m scared of Valko’s return because I feel it could cause another uproar in the community. I’m scared of Valko’s non-return because it means the game will never be complete. I’m scared the bugs in Kindled Moments will never be fixed. I’m scared of Love and Deepspace’s demise because what if the revenue decline and lower income don’t yield the desired outcome and instead result in a complete server shutdown, if Infold doesn’t have the resources to keep Love and Deepspace afloat? Not to mention the sick behavior of extremists this month, which could literally kill our beloved game, though I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen.

Lately, I’ve just felt like this game and its fandom, which until now have been my safe space, have become a kind of worry, a liability, and a ball and chain for me over the past few months. While I try to continue enjoying Love and Deepspace, something always feels off, and I’m scared it’ll either never change or eventually fall apart.

Perhaps, instead of constantly struggling with something we clearly can’t overcome, though it’s truly heartbreaking, we should simply accept that this game will never be complete, the story will never unfold as intended, and our beloved wolf will never return home? Because how long can we continue to fight a battle we have no guarantee of winning? If the cost of this is our peace and well-being, then, for me, it’s too high a price to pay, and I definitely need to take a step back from this whole Valko situation to find mine again.
