Hi all! My sister in law loves to give me Burt’s bees but aside from not being vegan they’re also super dry (to me). But I love the tint! I’m trying to find something I can put on my xmas wishlist so she’ll stop getting me Burt’s Bees lippies I can’t use lol

I have approx 1000 vegan NON-tinted chapsticks that I love - but I would kill for some tinted ones.

Basically just needs to be vegan, have some visible tint, and not go on super dry like lipstick (which I feel like Burt’s Bees always did when I used to use them).

Bonus points if they’re also SPF rated or moisturizing, but they don’t need to be - I really like basic chapstick consistency the best, not super liquidy stuff or roll-on type of stuff.

I still have half a bottle, but I love it so much I would love to get an alternative for when it runs out, I obviously won't be buying again from them.

So I'm 32 F, been vegan since 17, and struggled with mild-moderate facial acne (blackheads/pimples) and dull skin for years. I thought if I just found the right skin care routine, I could finally be free of adult acne. Well, my husband (also vegan) started using a vegan protein powder recently, and I thought hmm, maybe I'll try it too. I changed my breakfast from cereal to protein smoothie, and within DAYS my skin was totally different! Not exaggerating! I could see and feel the change. Softer, less dull, way less acne. It's now been a few weeks, and the change continues to last. Highly recommend a vegan protein powder, particularly for long term vegans who have skin issues, and if you feel you may not be getting enough protein. (Disclaimer: Check with your doctor first and use the product correctly.)

I think they are, since on the website I am looking at them on (It's a scandinavian website named "Kicks") says "100% Synthetic Hair", although the packaging does not say anything about being vegan and I cant find them at all on the Ardell website. Does anyone here know the answer? It seems to be the best clusters avaliable to me at a reasonable price so I would be very happy if they were vegan. :)

I emailed the brand and got this response:

"For both the Chai Latte and Gingerbread Latte Major Headlines Blush & Balm Sets, we currently do not have a vegan statement or certification from the manufacturers for either the blush or balm.

While none of the listed ingredients are common animal-derived ingredients such as carmine, beeswax, or lanolin, some ingredients may be sourced from either plant or animal sources. Because of this, we’re unable to confirm that either set is vegan at this time.

For this reason, we recommend considering both sets not confirmed vegan unless and until we receive specific vegan verification from the manufacturer."

However, I've previously emailed them and gotten confirmation that some of their blush duos are vegan. I assume it's the same vendor.

I have very picky skin and hair, and apparently my lashes are the same. I only know of two hair products that work for me and I’m always trying to look for different skincare.
My lashes I feel like are even worse the are light brown (I have auburn hair) and are very short which bothers me. I know mascara isn’t the end all be all for lengthening and I should try natural looking false ones maybe? But the only mascara i rebought was ILIA. I am trying Versed right now and as much as I love those two’s formulas (very light, not flaky, etc.) it just doesn’t do much for my lashes.⁎❝᷀ົཽ≀ˍ̮ ❝᷀ົཽ⁎⁺˳

I wanted to buy these pencils for a friend of mine. I was trying to find out if the brand was vegan-free and therefore didn't involve any interaction with animals. But all the research I did didn't bring any concrete answers.

I kept coming across that label on yesstyle and thought it was just the typical fake design to claim vegan without credentials. But one day, I zoomed in and I noticed that ® that got me thinking: is this thing legit? With a bit of searching I found the company that issues the certification. It was in korean which I do not speak so it was slightly finicky to navigate and find what exactly they define as vegan, but I was very surprised to see that it encompasses both vegan AND cruelty free. I thought I was about to be bamboozled into some label that allowed no animal products but gave the green light to animal testing, so I was very pleased with what I found. There's some pretty huge brands that have this certification, like Dr Althea which I previously wrote off as testing on animals due to being "a grey area". So does anybody know if this is legit and if it has some weird loopholes? It seems very legit, like the V label but more locally for Korea, but I'm too burned by companies using weird loopholes to claim cruelty free but then sell in China (stuff like sunscreen) or god knows what.
