Musabaha and sides
Musabaha with zhoug, tomato chutney (made this for tomorrow’s dinner, but it fit so well with the other flavours), a side salad and Persian flatbread.

No measurements, I was improvising but the sauce was basically:
Olive oil, garlic, ginger, coconut milk, almond milk, sesame oil, tahini, tajín, chili powder, cayenne pepper, red curry powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, white pepper, tamari, rice vinegar, lime juice… I think that was it

Visited Salt Lake City and literally ate this everyday we were there on days they were open. Hands down the best vegan sandwiches I've had in my life. And they're relatively cheap.

Hi everyone! This is about the sweet potato buns I made tonight 🍠
I followed a recipe that instructed to steam the sweet potato to mash, then form the dough to make the buns, but I don’t have a steamer so I just boiled them instead.
I wonder if this changed the texture of my sweet potato buns? I love them still but they’re a bit softer than I like, I also had to add flour as I went along as the dough was wet. I’m looking for a more chewy / pillowy texture without it feeling / tasting damp.
Not sure if I’m making sense but would so appreciate the help as someone who’s clueless atm! Thanks so much 🫶

Used this recipe for chickpea eggs (https://pin.it/7dOIYKuwP), used the entire batch, added tvp "sausage", roasted red pepper and green onions. Topped with Datil Do hot sauce from Pepper Palace.

Ajwaini Aloo is a simple, aromatic Indian potato dish flavored with carom seeds. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, it pairs perfectly with roti, paratha, or dal for a comforting meal.

I recently got home from a week at Palmaia - The House of Aia, a vegan resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It was definitely more expensive than other all-inclusive resorts I'd stayed at in the area, but the trade-off was that nearly all of the food is, by default, vegan. It was very nice to not have to worry about whether or not I could actually eat something, and there were no unpleasant surprises at the buffet where something that appeared to be plant-based would actually have meat it in when I got back to my table and bit inside. To accommodate omnivore travel companions there are some dishes where you can request a vegetarian or pescatarian modification, but I found that nearly everyone there was eating 100% vegan for the duration of their stay.
If you have any questions let me know!
