Shop to close for English family funeral
I saw this on Facebook. The Hanger boutique in the city is closing while the English funeral is happening. Such a lovely gesture , hopefully more shops will follow

My understanding is Derry are outselling Waterford roughly 2 to 1 since tickets went on sale today, we need alot more blues fans to even things out.
Its the best day in the domestic calendar & always a great spectacle. If we win a historic final we qualify for Europe next season. It doesn't get any bigger than this!

€7 in fees to have a McDonalds breakfast sent up. They’re having a right fucking laugh. Is there anyone that desperate?

Thought these short videos were worth sharing.
They're part of a project called NO FIXED ABODE – It Could Be You, featuring real people sharing their experiences of homelessness in Waterford.
Waterford Helping the Homeless have lost their premises and are now providing their services outdoors, with winter approaching.
The videos combine interviews with street art installations and are genuinely worth a watch.
See the Person: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdrZc-U-Jl0
Anyone's Family: https://youtu.be/lTk7Eg4o1B0
Does anyone know what's happening with their search for new premises? Surely there's a suitable space somewhere in Waterford that could help them continue their work.
Worth sharing to get the word out.

Well lads,
I find it quite sad that even though we have a Gaeltacht here in the county, there does not seem to be much opportunity to encounter Irish in the city. I am wondering if there are any spaces or groups trying to make this happen that I have not come across yet? Book clubs, regular meet ups in pubs or cafés, etc.
I am studying journalism + media right now and would love to try and maybe film some content as Gaelainn if anyone us interested or already doing stuff like that.

Hello :)
Myself and partner have recently bought an older house.
Looking for recommendations on plumbers.
Weve priced up a new kitchen but would have to move a radiator and a washing machine in the kitchen.
Also possibly move a rad and/or install one in spare bedroom upstairs.
Radiators are run off the back boiler.
Anyway, just don't know if this job is "big enough" for a plumber to want to do without it beinf log 2028 before they call round. Anyone any recommendations?
Thanks x

Two absolute muppets on ebikes all in black with face coverings or balaclavas on came tearing out of lombard street out onto the mall straight across the road while lights were green and I was passing tower hotel.
Blew the dopes off the road with the horn, not a care in the world.
Something really has to be done about these absolute dopes.. where the heck are the guards when this shit happens.
Middle of town needs garda presence all over st weekends surely.. these fellas have no fear of being caught at all..
Sorry rant over 🤷♂️

An Garda Síochána’s High Visibility Policing Plan, often referred to as High-Visibility beats, has been rolled out in other cities such as Dublin, Cork and Galway. It involves a uniformed foot-patrol initiative designed to combat street crime, anti-social behaviour, and public order issues.
