It’s a unique feeling. Like “I’m the only one that can do this for my baby” and it’s a very special and amazing feeling. I’ve done both, but nothing beats nursing in an emotional and bonding sense. You get cuddles, snuggles and when the baby goes to sleep, it feels like the world stops in the best way.
My heart goes out to those that want to nurse but can’t, for whatever reason(too busy, unable to produce, etc).
Exactly! It’s like the most loving cuddle you can think of, times a million! My youngest is 11 but I have days where I miss it… At least I can just look at past pictures with nostalgia!
Haha, something to reminisce on, I'm sure, when they're a teenager and telling you they hate you because you didn't let them do... whatever it is kids do these days!
Right?? Fortunately, the teen(14 in a month) isn’t TOO bad. The youngest is just full of sass but a ton of love. I’m bracing for the teen years of the youngest… haha. He’s definitely a handful. He might be the trickiest one. 😬

Same thing happened with my wife. I, being a new father, said, “Not a big deal we will make a new bottle with formula,” trying to be comforting.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen heartbreak so painfully and wordlessly conveyed before. It was like I slapped her across the face.
