Okay - feel free to call me a dummy - but I really struggle with the protection aspect of craft. When I first started witchcraft (in 2021) I jumped straight into two spells (which worked powerfully) without using protection. Over the years I’ve fell in and out of craft, and I’m back in again for what feels like for-good. However, whenever I try to learn or read about protection magick I become very stumped. Firstly, because I cast spells in the past without, I wonder what the protections I start now might lock in for me. Secondly, I’m aware that in that case i should cleanse, but everything I read about focuses heavily on visualisation to aid both acts.
I can’t’ visualise! I don’t have a minds eye. I don’t see a thing up there, except black. So when I try casting cleansing or protections, I really struggle and end up feeling like they aren’t working or are rendered useless by my imagination.
Also, I have no idea what to incant. Please can a kind witch give me the rundown of protection and cleansing for dummies, so that I don’t feel so stumped?

Good afternoon everyone. I started a hex jar for people in my life who i feel like deserve to be hexed. My wax is burning in the craziest way and sometime the flame flickers. Ive cleansed everything but the jar considering i didnt want the jar to be any kind of safe. Should i stop the flame or continue?

I really love to play with depth and hights. I'm a fan of using natural materials only. In my perspective the more effort you do, the more you get in return. Sacrificing time, energy and valueble resources give it its power.

I've studied spatial design and know how to make exhibition stands. I treat my altar as if it is an exhibition stand or display in a shop.

The construction is almost done, but the wooden shelf starts to bend a lot because of the weight. Today im going to put wooden beams underneath to make it level again and way stronger

I need some advice and help. My first language is not english, sorry for my mistakes. I work at a foster home, and i ran into a problem. The group leader is an openly practicing witch, but also they like stirring shit within the workers, there are a lot of conflict since they arrived. Every time, when a worker have a nasty argument with the leader, they feel the leader hexed them, bad things keep happening with them, like broken cars, accidents, broken leg, failing business, these types of things. I am a closeted witch, but i want to do something to protect the workers, and also the children in a spiritual level too. I dont have any arguments with the leader, but i know, they talked behind my back about me. I’m thinkig about some sigils on the door, but it has to be cleaned every other day, i can’t place a witches bottle without noticing, i can give some protection charms to the workers, but not the cildren - it can be misplaced very easily.
So help me, what can i do?

Hello, witches! I am a male baby witch, and it's not been long since I've discovered my gifts. I am into old practices of witchcraft. Do you have any practicular system(s) that you incorporate with your practice? Mine is more on candles. I use candles to hex or curse someone. But there were times that I could curse someone, and it would happen to them like about months or years. It depends on the time frame of how long it would take my curse to affect the target. Have you done the same thing? Or are you more on using tools to successfully affect your target?

I'm a new-ish witch, and have been wondering what some good books are to help me learn more? A little about me as a witch- I do work with herbs, manifestation, crystals, candles, incense. I've always been very connected with nature, and worship the moon as a whole (Mother Moon). I'm empathic and superstitious- currently working on making my own Ouijia Board to communicate with spirits! I've so far castes spells, made protection jars (one for home, one to come with me), cleansed my space and anything I use (jars for example), enchanted a crystal pendant for protection. I've also made a book to write my learnings down- it was the first thing I did before even intentionally practicing.

Okay I am fairly new to witchcraft and really want a Tarot card deck. I don't really want to buy one online like I know some people did.

She agreed to loki but than She started screaming at me for why i want to work with gods of the underworld and the death Also i work with Hekate and thats okay for her so i dont understand what do you think about this ? This is my first time doing a transmutation spell and I was very excited for it. As you can see, my intention was to transform gossip, bad intentions, ill-doing to my name to positive things that I wanted.

1st photo is the beginning of the spell and second photo is after 10-15 minutes, negative energy channeller candle light got smaller? And i tried sprinkling crushed clover on it and tried to make way from the sides of the candle so light could get brighter. I was afraid flame was going to die so I intervened a little.

Do you guys think that it is a problem or like it distrupted the spell? And also why do you think flame got smaller?

I do some reading sometimes, and have found out about a spirit named/called Lenglesou, and I have read that he kills those who offend him and or tell secrets.

Would anything happen at all if one were to pray to the spirit, especially if it was through unwanted and or intrusive thoughts, especially if one is uninitiated and or does not practice at all in any way, shape, and or form?

What about if one knows about any secrets? Will the spirit kill one is uninitiated/the unworthy and or does not practice at all in any way, shape, and or form at all if they have somehow offended him at all?

Would, unknowingly and or unintentionally or unconsciously, taking inspiration from the spirit for fiction cause anything to happen at all in any way, shape, and or form at all? What if one did it knowingly or intentionally and or consciously? What about consuming media with a character and or characters similar to and or imported by the spirit?
What if one did it not knowing about the spirit at all? What if one just forgets about the spirit what they may have read? Does it depend if it is insulting at all? Does that spend if it was intentional or not? Does it depend on knowledge and or lack there of of the spirit?

Would anything at all in any way, shape, and or form at all if an uninitiated person mocked and insulted the spirit at all? What if they said something insulting? What if it in the form of an unwanted and or intrusive thought and the person did not mean it at all?

hi! i’m a baby witch, and lately i’ve been watching paranormal videos, which got me thinking about the famous possession cases that inspired movies.
i believe in spirits, but i don’t follow christianity, so i’m confused about how to understand these stories. they’re usually explained as christian demons possessing someone and a priest removing them through an exorcism.
i know witches have different beliefs, so i’m curious about your personal perspective. do you think these cases involved illness, something spiritual, or something else? if you believe a spirit was involved, what do you believe it was, and how does that fit into your own beliefs without accepting the christian explanation?
i’m especially interested in hearing from people who follow norse or other pagan traditions. i’m still learning and trying to understand how people outside christianity view this.

I’m new ish and I’ve noticed everytime I do spells and even tarot and different divinations I’m messed with ex: I woke up to my perfume bottle being knocked over and one night my fan on my table kept being pulled and turned off me and multiple times through the night I had to move it back then seeing things or having weird almost out of body nightmares. I do protection with visualization, signals and a candle. So I guess I’m just wondering if I’m doing something wrong or not doing good enough protection or if there is a way to stop this. I needed to restock on apothecary ingredients today, mostly my hex reversing and crossing ingredients. I so happened to have seen Mandrake Root as well and got really excited because many shops don’t sell it due to its toxicity. Long story short I ended up with rusted nails, graveyard dirt, sulfur, mandrake root, poppy seed, wormwood, and other small things I needed. I looked like I’m putting a deathly curse on someone and now I’m laughing at it because the shop owner was like checking me out at the register and goes “um… anything… fun planned?” Typing in the Mandrake 😭and the poor man looked like he was going to cry and my dumbass at the time had no clue what he meant so I went “no! :3 just relaxing at home I just got back from a trip!”

I’ve had two witches tell me I have a negative blockage. One was five years ago in NYC - a psychic I paid and the one was an Etsy witch I just paid for - do yall actually think this is true or do you think they’re trying to scam me. I don’t feel negative at all if anything I feel in a really good place rn and have felt things going positively. Kind of upset at this Etsy witch like just do the spell I asked for!

I'm a baby witch. l've done only some minor spells that have worked out. a few didn't work, as in, I didn't receive anything back.

These spells were mostly done for practice. The reason got into witchcraft is, as visible in the title, to curse someone, a person who had intervened in my family. I know her nickname and remember her face vividly. I know for sure that she is a witch as well.

So, I did a protection amulet spell on one of my necklaces that is a crystal

The spell says once the spell is done, you don't need to charge it until months and it'll continue it's job

But i used to cleanse my crystal every week

Wouldn't Cleansing the crystal affect the protection spell on it?

how would one phrase a no harm clause for a spell on someone else's behalf?

I do “spells”, or maybe they’re not. I just say a wish whenever I light a candle, I believe whole heartedly it’ll work, and it usually does because I don’t ask for six day weekends or anything crazy. I also believe in all gods, including the Christian one (Yahweh), and Greek gods and goddesses. I only consistently pray to Apollo because I enjoy the feeling of the sun (but I’ve recently found that Apollo is the god of light, not the sun). I believe in Yahweh, as I said, but I do not respect him; my hubris would be spread between every religion if not for him, because I focus all of my pride on his narcissistic ass. It’s my belief that he is a bad god.

My question, is what am I? Omnism might fit, but I don’t know. I will be posting the same thing to r/theology
