Ethics/Life & Death WYR Wake up after death in a futuristic eternal utopia or not wake up at all (stay dead)?
To answer some edge cases:
While the utopia has no adverse conditions (pain, suffering, boredom, sadness, exhaustion etc) your life here is fundamentally eternal. You cannot die by anyones hand but your own and you are god-like and can change any condition of your existence (your body, your mind, the rules of physics etc). You could choose to live a completely different life under different conditions or anything else you can imagine if you so choose.
You can still choose eternal death if you choose utopia at any point in the future. But read the below as this decision is permanent.
If you choose death in either case, there is no revisal. There is no further continuity or experience past death. There is nothing to experience subjectively for the rest of your eternal lack of existence. There is no chance of being revived into utopia if you make this decision.
Any further edges I'll answer as an edit or in the comments.
