I usually don't make posts like this, but after everything I've been through over the past few days, I feel like I need to share my experience.

First, let me make something clear: I genuinely love Wuthering Waves.

I've been playing since launch, back in May 2024. I pre-registered for the game, have supported it through purchases, and genuinely appreciate what Kuro Games has created.

But holy hell, their account support system needs serious improvement.

All I wanted to do was change the email associated with my Kuro Games account.

Sounds simple enough, right?

Well, apparently not.

The Account Center doesn't allow you to change your email directly. Instead, you need to contact support, request an email unbinding, go through ownership verification, and eventually bind a new email yourself.

Fine. I understand account security.

But here's where things started getting ridiculous.

I provided my account information, UID, screenshots, linked login details, device history, in-game information, and purchase receipts.

Not just recent purchases, either. I actually went through my payment history to find transactions dating back almost two years, around the time the game originally launched.

And somehow, that still wasn't enough.

Support kept requesting additional information, sometimes asking me to clarify things I had already explained.

At one point, they even asked about linked accounts that didn't match what I was seeing on my own account.

I had to repeatedly explain the difference between my native Kuro Games email login and the Google account connected as a third-party authentication method.

Then came another requirement: because my current device isn't exactly the same one I used back in 2024, I was instructed to log in on the same device for seven consecutive days.

Seriously?

It's been over two years. I've upgraded my computer and replaced my phone. People change devices.

And then there was the chat system itself.

During one conversation, support requested another old payment receipt. I told the agent I needed a minute to retrieve it.

Within approximately two or three minutes, the chat was closed.

I had to join the support queue again.

Imagine spending all that time retrieving documents, answering questions, explaining everything, and then having your support session end while you're doing exactly what the agent asked.

And it doesn't stop there.

Eventually, I was asked to record a VIDEO of myself logging into the game through a linked third-party account and displaying my UID.

So I did.

I recorded the video and submitted it.

After all of that, the latest response was that my information had been forwarded to the verification team and that I should wait for further updates.

So yes, after all this effort, my request is still pending.

And here's what frustrates me the most:

I'm not refusing to verify ownership.

I'm not asking support to bypass security.

I'm not expecting special treatment.

I'm willing to follow reasonable procedures.

But there's a difference between legitimate verification and making customers jump through an endless series of hoops without clear communication or continuity.

If the information I've already provided isn't enough, explain exactly what's missing and why. Don't keep requesting the same things or providing inconsistent answers.

I genuinely want Kuro Games to succeed. That's precisely why I think this deserves criticism.

A company can make an excellent game and still provide a terrible customer support experience. Both things can be true.

And when people invest years of their time and money into an account, having a reliable, transparent account management system shouldn't be too much to ask.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of account verification nightmare with Kuro Games?

Did you eventually manage to change your email or unlink an account? Did contacting support through Discord or email make any difference?

I'd genuinely like to hear how other players handled similar situations, because this process has been unnecessarily exhausting.

TL;DR: I've spent days trying to change my Kuro Games email, submitted extensive ownership verification, historical purchase receipts, and even a video demonstrating a successful login. Support has repeatedly requested additional information, provided inconsistent details, and closed chats unexpectedly. My request is still pending. I love the game, but the account support experience desperately needs improvement.

We are so close to 4.x, so there are some things that I want to see in 4.x.

This is all my personal opinion/expectations, so please don't spread any hate. If you disagree, it's completely fine.

So, first thing.

1. Reruns: So, this might not be a big deal for many people, but I kinda hate reruns in wuwa. Some characters have had reruns 1–2 times, and that was also a long time ago. And now we're getting Lynae and Chisa back-to-back reruns.

And Shorekeeper being in the spending event... I was happy when I saw the "Reverb Banner" in 3.3. I thought we were finally gonna get old characters rerun in this banner, but they just ran it once and never brought it back.

So, my wish is that they just rerun all old characters in chronological order, or make old characters available in the standard banner. I mean, nobody cares about the current standard character banner.

I have teams that have been incomplete since day 1 because I never get the chance to pull their teammates. I pulled Cart and her sig, thinking surely we'll get a Ciaccona rerun soon, but we never got one. Same with Shorekeeper. I missed her on the beginner banner, and now there's no sign of Shorekeeper's rerun. I started playing in 2.7, and SK had her rerun in 2.6, I think... unfortunate.

2. Old Characters Buffs: They kinda buff older characters in Endstate, which is great, but I hope they rework older characters' kits more or give them new mechanics like Tune/NS. I mean, I see the light after Hsin and Jinhsi's Unison. It would be great to see Jiyan getting Aero Erosion or Camellya getting Echo Skill, Havoc Bane, or something like that.

Or they can just do what other gacha games do and buff

older characters so they work with new character mechanics. That's just my personal take.

3. Old Sonatas: We all know how bad the old Sonatas are, especially the DPS ones. And because of that, older DPS characters fall behind and miss crits like crazy without Shorekeeper, and even with Shorekeeper.

So, I just hope they rework some old Sonatas and add crit stats to them or something like that.

Or bring 3-pc sets back. They're goated IMO, but farming them is a pain. If they fix that by adding them to Tacet Fields, that'll be insane. So, yeah, they can just make 3-pc sets for older characters because nobody uses 3-pc sets other than the characters that are made for them.

A great example is doing something like Lucilla, because Lucilla can activate Phrolova's set if you didn't know. But it won't do anything because Lucilla isn't a DPS.

4. QoL/Changes: Well, I don't have any problems with QoL because wuwa always does a great job with it. Still, there's something that I want to see in the future.

- Give Transducers to F2P players. I know Transducers are a scam, but you can hit the jackpot too, right? You never know. Make them available through events or a game mode challenge. Idk, something like Currency War from HSR, where they give you 2 Transducers per patch.

- Sequence Deactivation. I don't have any S6 characters, but it'll help many content creators test characters.

- New Standard Weapon: Give me a crit rectifier, Kuro, pls.

- Loading Screen: Bruh, nowadays, everything I click just gives me a loading screen. It's getting annoying (that's just my personal problem). The loading screen takes more time than doing dailies.

What else... that's pretty much it. I know there are many things I want to see, but these are the ones I want to see the most.

Let me know your thoughts and what you want to see in the future.

This might be too niche of an issue, but I'll do my best to explain this as best as I can. In the Heart of Stillness, there is a Composite Anomaly Zone where you have to look for the ecaped Flamejaw Chis. At least one of them is in an inner threshold. For context, there is two Prism of Fates you have to use and the other is available in the threshold so you can continue on. I had no issues clearing this obstacle (second picture) at first, but entered combat after returning the green Prism of Fate into the fox statue. I still genuinely don't know what exactly happened, but Hsin's intro skill lauched me from the platform back to in front of the elevating platform, which you need the green Prism of Fate. There is no way back to that platform without it and the Prism of Fate is on that platform. I'm considering contacting the support in case reddit cannot provide me with a cheat or another way to bypass this softlock. I have already restarted the game and waited for the server to reset, so your progress in these domains doesn't (unfortunately in this case) reset.

Thanks already for any suggestions or help. I'm honestly kind of mad about this and I doubt the devs accounted for this kind of scenario.

(I am a PC player, though I doubt my device has anything to do with this issue.)

Whenever I have attempted to load the game, the game would always freeze on the screen seen in image 1, without me even being able to click off with alt tab or the windows key, then after waiting 3 or so minutes, the second screen would show up. Occasionally, discord, which I have in the background, would also seemingly close. Any ideas on the problem?

Opened my Wuwa after 2months on my phone so I can grind outside whilst far from my pc, proceeded to get jumscared by this😭, I'm not sure whether this is a problem on my phone or the game itself. The phone that I'm using rn is a Honor 600, It could be OS at fault since I've just installed the newest one on mine. Nevertheless, I hope they make the game more optimized on mobile devices.

As a Terrarist myself, I approve of Hsin using the Nightglow to fire four rainbow-colored projectiles which emerge from the player and home in on nearby enemies.

I really miss the 1.X and 2.X Login Screens. Could we please get a selector?

Every time Wuwa drops a major patch with a new region, they also update the login screen's music and animation. It’s always cool, but sometimes I really miss the vibe of the older ones, especially 1.X "Saving Light" and 2.X "Onward When You Wake."

My biggest wish for a future QoL update is a feature to choose which region's login screen we use. The best way to implement it would be:

- An option to stick with the default "Current Version."

- A system to manage the login screen files, letting us download the ones we want and delete the ones we don't use to save storage.

I would love to be able to set my favorite theme perpetually. What do you think?

anyone knows how to deal with this? ive been trying to find a way to solve it, but none worked; restarted pc, restarted launcher, ran as administrator, deleted updater cache, allowed full control, whitelisted the game, tried to overwrite it with the official installer but that didnt work too. ive searched the internet, almost everything didnt work. and some of them are too complicated to understand i dont want to risk it for now

i cant interact/click anything else. im locked behind the update notice. i can only run the game using the launcher.exe. if i use other .exe to launch the game, there will be a notice saying fatal error and "Kuro: Use launcher to start game!"

i really dont want to reinstall the whole game.... the internet in my place is so bad it will take days for me to download everything😭

Hello I'm 3 weeks in this game and still learning but i wanted to ask the elites a little help if i pull for banner character and fail on 50/50 does it count for next banner or it goes back to 50/50 after update? Ty😌

since 2 people are already yapping about Tuners/Sealed Tube quantity shortages (thus comparing their account to others) let me show you what's the state of echo farming in my account

• first thing's first, apologies if i uploaded a video coz i cannot upload more than 20 pictures on reddit.
• second, im a day 1 player and i previously played g*nsh*n last 2022 for 8 months so i know the basics on how to farm or how to make your characters stronger .. basically get Crit Damage/Crit Rate/Atk% substat
• third, im a whale player and i consistently use lunites to refresh my waveplates for farming echoes especially when a new resonator is coming to be released. i also own all resonators as shown in the first part of the video (56/56) and yes, i will pull for suoming as well as i pull all the resonators in this game. (if someone asked why am i pulling all resonators, its because i want to play them all)
• fourth, the reason i am min/max-ing or acquire CR/CD substat echoes for all of my resonators in my account - i'm a hardcore endstate matrix player scoring hundreds of thousands of points (current maximum is 400k++ last version 3.6 with 20 teams - maximum teams you can use on endstate matrix) and i want all my resonators to be relevant in this endgame mode because as i said earlier i want to play them all. i own 11 S6 Resonators, 9 of them are S6R1 and 2 of them are S6R5. most of them are Main DPS resonators. i also own S2/S3 Sub DPS Resonators and S2/S3 Sustain Resonators (healers)
• fifth, my echoes sets on some of my resonators are still on WIP (Work-In-Progress) as some of them are on day 1 build. let me brief you what are my current roadmap echo planning farm:
  • Phoebe (currently on Eternal Radiance Set [Zani Echo Set]) => change to Moonlit Clouds set
  • Iuno (currently on 3x Crown of Valor [Augusta/Iuno DPS Echo Set] + 2x Windward Pilgrimage [Aero DMG]) => change to Moonlit Clouds set
  • Lucilla (currently on Wishes of Quiet Snowfall Set [Hiyuki Echo Set - for Glacio Chafe] => make another echo set for her echo mode which is Moonlit Clouds
  • Currently Building Suoming
  • Currently Building Lily
  • Other Echo set Optimizations on other resonators

FYI i'm still far from over on these echo build ups and my tuner/sealed tube quantities never go up a 1000 or more because new characters are coming up and ofcourse.. i need to build them as well.

I'm also a Qingxiao Main and i want Qingxiao to have all 5 liners on each of her echo sets with its maximum substat output (i.e CD = 21/CR = 10.5%/Atk% = 10.5%) in which i use transducers on it

so if you guys are asking why my account has less tuners/sealed tubes versus on your account its because every new resonator release, i get them and i build them with CR/CD substat plus relevant substat on that new resonator that will be released

I've been having this problem when i play and i don't know if it's my xbox or is my tv since both have like 3 years or so, personally i think it's that my xbox are dirty inside and that i need to clean it but honestly i'm not so sure about that

with verina instead of sk might be possible if you are willing to crit fish iuno just kept missing crit even with near 90% crit and rebecca just never crits
you need to be cautious of tune build up extend a bit rotation if your lib is hitting on tune beark cool down

if you add mornye s0 instead of sk it will be easy af because big chunk of dmg in thist team is rebecca tune break
