Finally Broke the 50+ CPM

My average CPM has always hovered around $18 to $25. On a good day it might climb to $35, but I finally broke past the $50 mark on one of my videos and the revenue difference is insane lol.

Some info:
My niche: We do true crime
Video length: Over an hour

Damn this is crazy....never seen 50 rpm...makes sense considering u have 1 hour video and must be getting good retention, hence these stats! 👏

It's CPM, not RPM. But it's still a very high number

Is CPM entirely based on viewership and retention? Or does subscriber count play into that too? I'm also curious, how long have you been consistent on your channel?

It all depends on video topic, length, viewers details (such as age, country, gender etc etc)

Most of my viewers are older, a good amount of them are home owners, and 90% USA

Ah, so if you pull in a demographic that is more likely to pay the ones advertising then your CPM goes up? That would make a lot of sense actually

nice, was this a seasonal thing or did something about the topic itself pull higher value ads? some true crime topics just attract way better ad categories than others

I think it was mainly the length, was my first time doing an hour long video, my avg is usually around 25-30 mins
