Has there been any change on how you get the call? As i understand, it triggers after the prisoner exchange and completing deal with transnational capital subquest. But as it was, you'd have to hold off recruiting a party slot or delay procuring a gun, or you'd be shoved to the endgame right after and barred from sleeping and getting the call.

So i'm curious if the director's cut made changes on the progression to get the call.

I had an interaction with the metal stripper in the silo where let's just say I tapped into the Umbral powers and passed a check so something truly Lovecraftian happened to her and I got to keep my property and it sounded like she did not get to keep her life.

However right after that sequence she is still just sitting outside picking scrap metal out of a puddle.

I’m looking for information on potential localization options for Zero Parades. With the recent announcement of the Director's Cut coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 3rd, I was wondering if there's any update on language support.

Does anyone know if there are official plans, particularly for Italian, but also for portuguese, french, turkish and other requested languages?

I’ve never wanted to make him suffer more or prolong his state because of the moral aspects. Previously I had a firm belief excluding him from The Sick Crew squad was for the best.

Nevertheless, I’ve met Holocene as the last one of the potential candidates and he really got to me… So far, my favourite asset. Would love him to become a team member, but having wanted him, I’d have to recruit Pseudopod as well (I already have Yana, hope it doesn’t exclude Holo).

I'm deep into the game and I keep running into the same problem: whenever I look for something specific (some side quest rewards, Conditionning effects and lore details mostly), I find almost nothing. The fandom wiki is patchy, most guides are partial walkthroughs or generic SEO pages, and a lot of what I do find contradicts itself or is machine-translated.

For a game this dense in content and writing, that surprised me.

1. Is this mostly because the game underperformed commercially, so there are few people left to write guides? Or is there another reason (a lot of content locked behind choices, no datamining) ?
2. Is there a more complete resource that I'm missing, like a community Discord, a spreadsheet, or a better wiki than the fandom one?
3. If you've been documenting things yourself (quest rewards, skill checks, item effects), where are you posting them?

EDIT (SOLVED): You cannot access the individual cabinets using a controller. You have to use a mouse to click on the cabinet. Hope that helps someone else.

I’ve detached the file cabinets, but the yellow disc for the man with no heart is nowhere to be found. I also have not been assaulted in the abandoned silo to continue with Bagman’s quest.

I've been meaning to figure it out myself, but I never got anywhere, so I'll ask: is it possible to get past the Luzian "brand ambassadors" into the Housing Campaign before finding the prisoner and getting your real assignment? They are not very impressed by my fashion knowledge. Can they actually let you through or are literally there to gate your progress?

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but the 2017 film Atomic Blonde shares more than a few similarities with Zero Parades. Less so writing quality wise - Atomic Blonde doesn't really delve into anything else than being a stylish spy thriller - but some choices, especially aesthetic ones, really make me think of ZP:

• the protagonist being a tall, blonde, female spy (Lorraine is more of a calculated manipulator than our disaster headcase Hershel, but they both get their hands dirty real bad, have personal agendas and are in hot water with their superiors);
• brutal, visceral violence, people get really fucking hurt;
• constant presence of booze and cigarettes;
• making "contact" with a French operative;
• pop culture everywhere you look;
• lots and lots of outfit changes.

In particular, the staircase fight scene and Lorraine nursing her injuries in an ice bath while sipping on vodka is just pure Hershel.

Anyway, I guess this is somewhat of a recommendation for everyone who has enjoyed ZP to check out this movie.

Did any other films/series/books/games give you a similar feeling to ZP? I was thinking of checking out Slow Horses, I heard it's also about sad spy fuckups trying to redeem themselves. One other movie that comes to mind is Army of Shadows, a lot darker than the stuff mentioned above but it definitely has the feeling of hopelessness.

Not in the sense of narrative but in terms of how she brings her old friends back into her life. It honestly feels like she just dragging these people for a sense of that glory. The whole sick crew were screwed one way or another(expect Eszti but you could make the case that she had to use the pieces that Cascade gave her) when the network shutdown. So bringing your friends on a suicide mission is kind of a dick move on her part. Especially when choosing the dialogue choice that make it seem like Cascade is trying to help them.

I honestly don't get how Cascade can even work with the Opera after they put her in the freezer. The Opera just seems like a small fish playing with bigger fish. They don't do anything that would be big enough to make an impact on the world, they come off as an organizations that would be happy taking small victories. The man with no heart said that the opera aren't what they used to and the big shots have been replaced with people with numbers which honestly is interesting look on the what the real agenda are about.

This thing looked cozy as fuck, I was jealous of him through the whole shootout.

I just finished the game for the first time where Kaleidoscope activates the red disk in the tram. I had a pair of headphones and so did he. It seemed like the two of us would be making it out, but then he took his headphones off on purpose during the middle of the song and died.

Why? It made no sense to me. Was he just obsessed with V that much?

When visiting RADIAN on his boat, you could be a jerk by wearing the Twinkle Lights and dancing in front of him in an attempt to trigger his seizure.

The voiced tracks on the OST are a delight, but even before hearing them I couldn't help but associate the artist Miss Grit with the exact type of transhumanist/technopop sound that the game describes of Luzian music. These three tracks are among my favorites, and coincidentally feel very relevant to some core themes of the game, but really I'd say the vast majority of her work captures that UV essence.

Any reactions, or any other artists anyone would recommend?
