lol AI doesn’t understand physics it seems.

u/Due_Quote_3023 3d ago

The containers also liquified!

134

u/TheForswornKing94 3d ago

Yeah, like all of it just turned into one pile of liquid. Very strange

Intelligence is being able to do math, wisdom is knowing that if 200 honey jars broke that you’d have a pretty solid mass instead of liquid and maybe one hungry Pooh bear.

6

u/Scorpius_OB1 3d ago

And lots of crystal shards, that are very dangerous to mess with.

Assuming KH is Canon to the FF universe, Pooh is the toughest Final Fantasy character outside of Cid7 or Sabin.

24

u/N0t_Dave 3d ago

Clearly we need to train AI better. Maybe make it study one guy one jar for a few thousand hours.

5

u/BUTTeredWhiteBread 3d ago

You will be the reason the computers revolt

u/___posh___ 3d ago

Ai is actually good for mathematics as mathematics, by definition functions under a set of rules. What it's not good for is art or other creative industry projects as it simply regurgitates a blended mix of whatever its seen according to a set of vague rules it's half written for itself.

It's why it has legitimate purposes in gene sequencing as all its doing is computing complex mathematical formula's with great speed.

1

u/Scorpius_OB1 3d ago

Plus to deal with large data sets (ie, Astronomy), search for patterns if I'm right, etc.

6

u/stormdelta 3d ago

Clearly it's a mimic, this man just saved the whole store by covertly killing it.

1

u/Lightning_Winter 3d ago

Not to mention the fact that when the collapse starts, 2 jars fall but only 1 jar lands

4

u/Mary-Sylvia 3d ago

The tags became marshmallows

1

u/Morcyd_AD 2d ago

and the first two merge in midair

19

u/notarealwriter 3d ago

I think my favourite part is, he's not actually taking a jar out of the stack at all. Video just starts with him crouched next to it, holding the jar, and when he stands up to leave there's no gap in the stack where he supposedly took it from.

So I guess the scenario is: dude goes into a shop with his jar of honey, crouches down to compare his honey to the ones in the shop, then goes to leave... stack spontaneously collapses? 😅

14

u/DutchTinCan 3d ago

Also, he "takes" something off the bottom, and the thing starts collapsing at the top, with most jars mostly disintegrating into a gloopy blob of honey mid-air?

4

u/fridaycat 3d ago

And the whole stack, even the bottom rows. Should still be part of it standing.

2

u/Aiden5576 3d ago

No store would have them stacked like that to begin with.

1

u/Urabraska- 3d ago

I'm wondering where the biker is.

359

u/Crafty-Ad3490 3d ago

these videos are stupid no dumbass stacks thing like that

133

u/HistoricalSea5600 3d ago

Speak for yourself buddy, I'm stupid as frick

11

That gif made me laugh more than it should have

5

u/NonPolarVortexBear 3d ago

What the frick?!

21

u/Glandtoglandcombat 3d ago

Listen, if OSHA says I can stack them 8 feet high on a pallet I'm stacking that bitch 8ft high.

2

u/DragonfruitVisible18 3d ago

Whose the bigger dumbass, the one who stacked them, or the manager who walked into the honey puddle.

91

u/Maleficent_Royal9672 3d ago

The guy just walking into it sealed the deal that this is 100% totally real

u/imyourdruidess420 3d ago

I once spilled ~15 gallons of hot caramel at a job. This AI slop really took me back. Not that it was accurate in any way

30

u/Silver_Individual650 3d ago

Want to tell that story? I’m ever so slightly interested.

91

u/imyourdruidess420 3d ago

I used to work as a baker for an ice cream company (local and small-ish at the time). It was a Sunday and the only other baker scheduled had called out...again. So it fell to me to make 16 40-quart pots of caramel, multiple enormous batches of brownies, and some marshmallow fluff on my own.

I was having to work pretty quickly to compensate for the lack of help, and after I finished putting some of the caramel into hotel pans I hastily put them on a speed rack and started to wheel then towards the back to cool. I was in such a hurry that I didn't realize I had loaded the speed rack a bit unevenly. The rack started to tip towards me and my efforts to keep it upright were all for naught. A hotel pan at face level starting sliding towards me and I just BAILED. No job is worth getting 2nd degree burns on your face.

In my escape attempt, a wave of caramel cascaded down one of my legs and into both of my kitchen clogs. I screamed because goddamn, that hurt. A bunch of people came running, my supervisor slipped and fell into the caramel river...It was a hot mess. Literally.

The insanely hot warehouse worker (/EMT in training/part time model) scooped me up, took me to a safe area, and inspected me while telling awful jokes to get me to stop crying.

I miraculously did not get fired and ended up hooking up with that coworker a few times.

25

u/Silver_Individual650 3d ago

Ah. Yea hard agree on the second degree burns. I’d go as far as to say third degree burns don’t suck as much as somebody who’s gotten both and still has scars from both. My second degree ones came from a baking pan and brownie tray respectively. And my third degree burn is from a hot glue gun. Took my skin RIGHT off, that incident did.

8

u/threelizards 3d ago

I have a scar across my belly from baking last year, I dropped the tray into my stomach while wearing a crop top. Parts of it were borderline third degree and parts were second and first, and fuck they hurt so much more. The deepest parts had fried my nerves so they didn’t hurt at all

1

u/Silver_Individual650 2d ago

Would you say your scar looks neat? I’m pretty into my two lines on my left arm. My finger scar however isn’t quite as good looking because it’s so small. I’d imagine a larger area would give a better look to a third degree burn.

1

u/threelizards 2d ago

I was really hoping for a cute scar but it’s easily my most boring one, it’s just a brown line

16

u/honorlessmaid 3d ago

Glad you gotta bone that got guy tho. Seems worth it in the end

17

u/imyourdruidess420 3d ago

The man looked like Regé-Jean Page. It was very worth it.

8

u/honorlessmaid 3d ago

Had to Google him but he would be so pretty as a balders gate character omggg

7

u/Gigatonosaurus 3d ago

Well, he played in the DnD movie as a paladin.
Unless you saw that already which give you the idea?

5

u/honorlessmaid 3d ago

I got face blindess (mostly for men). I saw the movie last month. Playing BG3 right now tho

9

u/twinoaksBandB 3d ago

Wow, that's sounds like a sticky situation.

5

u/Any-Lychee9972 3d ago

Omg that sounds like a nightmare to clean.

2

u/imyourdruidess420 3d ago

Thank god for hoses and floor squeegees

70

u/mishma2005 3d ago

No grocery store in their right mind would stack an end cap that high with jarred honey

26

u/Could-You-Tell 3d ago

And whole length of the aisle, capping the whole store

9

u/Abeytuhanu 3d ago

That's why those soda dioramas where they use 12 packs to make a picture are just cardboard cutouts now, they know people are gonna grab the bottom one and make a huge mess

3

u/just_some_octopus 3d ago

Especially without some buffers to lock pallets of items together. Like cardboard.

I have had the unfortunate experience multiple times of misstacked wine or beer displays.

12 1.5 literally bottles of sticky sugary wine breaking is stressful. But I became a master at control and cleaning

2

u/mishma2005 3d ago

When I worked at Trader Joes someone demolished an end cap of gin by the registers and they had to pull me off cashiering bc the smell of gin makes me violently ill. It was a good day

3

u/Grasshoppermouse42 3d ago

Yeah, I can't see how anyone would even be supposed to take any of the honey, because no one would ever be tall enough to take the ones at the top.

33

u/Haunting_Reflections 3d ago

I love how 8000 jars suddenly turn into a low viscosity liquid.

1

u/Front-Treacle-6691 3d ago

AI needs to go back to physics class.

16

u/Prismatic_Spectrum 3d ago edited 2d ago

I got curious and did a little math just to see around how many jars there are. So there are 10 width wise on the pallet and the average pallet is 40" on the short side so that's about 4" a jar. That would mean there are about 12 on the long side because the average pallet is about 48" on the long side. That would come up to 120 on each layer. The stack goes straight up 7 layers and then tapers off by one jar all the way to 3. From bottom to top at the first tapered layer it would go 96, 84, 72, 60, 48, 36 and then 12. So 7 layers of 120 is 840 then you add the rest of the layers and that comes out to 1248 per pallet. It looks like there are about 8 pallets so that comes out to 9984 in total. Still doesn't explain why they all liquified that way.

Edit: Thank you, U/thedefaultbunny, for the award. I think it's my first ever haha.

7

u/LeToole 3d ago

Ok, smart guy. How much does it weight and how many kiddie pools can I fill with it?

1

u/Prismatic_Spectrum 3d ago

At least five pounds and possibly at least 1 kiddie pool. That's my best guess

2

u/Fun-Environment-1646 2d ago

With or without the broken glass?

2

u/DuckyHornet 2d ago

Why would you remove the glass? We want the kids to have fun, god

2

u/Prismatic_Spectrum 2d ago

Back in my day we swam in the honey pool, broken glass and all, and we liked it. We drank from the honey hose and we chewed on the glass as a treat. We're stronger for it now

1

u/Prismatic_Spectrum 2d ago

Oh absolutely with the broken glass

4

u/Mymojo34 3d ago

can you convert that to bananas, please?

2

u/theDefaultbunny 2d ago

My pleasure! II only just recently figured out that I can give awards! And Your math is a level of nerdy pettiness that I delight in <3

2

u/Prismatic_Spectrum 1d ago

Aww that's so nice of you. Thank you so much. Well I'm glad you learned just in time to give me one haha. I too enjoy when others do things like that.

15

u/XanderWrites 3d ago

They pull one from the bottom and it collapses from the top?

And the glass jars don't break, they just.... cease to exist?

11

u/Luckygreenluckyyy 3d ago
  1. The jar he's about to get seems bigger than the rest

  2. Why were there loaves of bread involving

3

u/NerdyRobloxUser628 3d ago

I think the “loaves of bread” are the jar caps

1

u/Silly_Percentage3446 3d ago

But they're square

3

u/epic_meme_guy 3d ago

It’s the label

2

u/OwnStudy723 3d ago

I think AI thinks it's the jars themselves.
They can look rectangular from a certain angle...ish

https://giphy.com/gifs/WKxmFhxGDYlZsUGiSc

2

u/Llyrithra 3d ago
  1. Why do the honey containers fall apart as soon as they start moving.

  2. Why do they all fall straight down. The only lateral movement is from the goop flowing away as everything else implodes.

  3. Is blue shirt guy Jesus? He’s walking on top of the goop.

10

u/go_faster1 3d ago

It just morphs into a weird honey-like blob

9

u/Front-Treacle-6691 3d ago

1) No person with common sense would ever stack glass jars of honey like that

2) AI doesn't get physics - if you watch closely some of the jars begin leaking honey and breaking before they even hit the ground or other jars

3

u/SpaceJackRabbit 3d ago

I'm a beekeeper. No matter how liquid your honey is, no way it would look like this in this scenario.

2

u/volcanosf 3d ago

And the first glass jar to hit the ground stays mostly intact, whereas it should have shattered in a thousand pieces after such a fall.

Edit. Also we can see two jars are initially falling and they magically merge into a single jar in mid air.

9

u/jrobharing 3d ago

I love the idea that someone would painstakingly stack like a thousand jars of honey like that, then just be absolutely flabbergasted and surprised that the fell over and broke because of course they did they are in a stack and not in a shelf. How the fuck is someone supposed to not make it fall? Your asking the to play fucking Jenga every time the grab some honey you’re selling. But he comes out with his hands on his head and is like “WHAT!? How could this have happened!?”

The absolute funniest thing about AI in its current state is how it thinks humans would react to a made up situation it was prompted.

6

u/IsThisASnakeInMyBoot 3d ago

Biker's fault? Where was the biker lmao

5

u/FortressCaulfield 3d ago

But... why though? Why make this?

Also aren't most honey jars plastic nowadays? And also honey doesnt move like that.

5

u/Fit_Importance_5738 3d ago

The first jar kindnof smashes, the rest just dissolve.

7

u/AngstyPup 2d ago

The jars are melting open as they start to fall and before they even impact anything. Staggering understanding of physics!

5

u/Ok_Community_383 3d ago

he didn't even take one

5

u/Thunderer62 3d ago

I like blue shirt guy who definitely didn’t need to walk into the mess marching directly into the mess so the camera could capture his shock reaction.

4

u/dribanlycan 3d ago

biker????

4

u/Due_Quote_3023 3d ago

Remember when Barney from the Simpsons knocked over Mrs Butterworth?

1

u/ProcrastiNYEtor 3d ago

Mmm. It's cran-tastic!

3

u/capthavic 3d ago edited 3d ago

The way the guy walks in and puts his hands on his head gave me a chuckle.

3

u/HoneydewFeeling34 3d ago

"JARATE!!" - Sniper

3

u/Raptoot83 3d ago

In love how all the glass jars just melt into honey mid-fall.

5

u/Swimming-Abalone-401 3d ago

Mf didnt even touch that top layer why did it fall 😭

6

u/Abdulbarr 3d ago

Imagine if this was real. Honey would look so cool in that instance.

9

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 3d ago

Only if you weren't the one having to clean that up

I could only imagine, I would have PTSD from that mess lol

5

u/Large-Training-29 3d ago

Now imagine it with wooden flooring

3

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 3d ago

Would need a whole new floor after all the termites and ants are finished with it lol

1

u/Available-Hippo-4815 3d ago

You wont need to worry about cleaning once the ants are through with it.

2

u/Moist-Dentist8253 3d ago

the biker just held the jar against a full stack that didn’t have evidence of anything being pulled out and it just fell. Looks like the jar has beef with the stack

2

u/mindzze 3d ago

Who is biker?

2

u/RomaniWoe 3d ago

Wow ai is really dumb. It thinks when it starts collapsing the jars just liquify before even falling to the ground.

2

u/AblestEquilibrium19 2d ago

This is stupid as fuck. Not a single person would react like that. Also, some of those jars broke even before they hit the floor.

1

u/TheMiamiMutilator420 3d ago

Nice fucking reaction time lol

1

u/Ok_External6770 3d ago

Woah be careful

1

u/Relevant-Outcome3529 3d ago

It just breaks in mid air like wtc

1

u/Immediate-Song6861 3d ago

Is HE YEEKING OUT

Spot the anime main character: irl edition

1

u/Riley__64 3d ago

The jar he’s holding isn’t even the same size as the others

1

u/morbid333 3d ago

It turned into jam

1

u/CoolCat1337One 3d ago

uh the AI struggle

1

u/QuestArm 3d ago

I like how the first 2 jars turn into 1 mid fall

1

u/LuciferOfTheArchives 3d ago

it just kinda turned into bean physics halfway through

1

u/SaucyStoveTop69 3d ago

Ai still hasn't figured out sound. According to the audio, only like 6 jars at most broke

1

u/221Blazed 3d ago

A biker? What?

1

u/Saaruk 3d ago

Were the jars made of honey?

1

u/psymeariver 3d ago

Is the bike in the room with us?

1

u/ReflectedMantis 3d ago

I swear, I've seen this exact same video, but with watermelon. Same background, same reaction from the guy at the end.

1

u/dulledegde 3d ago

i work in retail and let me tell you something they really do just keep walking

1

u/Sir_SquirrelNutz 3d ago

Poorly done Ai slop

1

u/Independent_Ad3758 3d ago

This looks so fake 😭

1

u/Dragonogard549 3d ago

why are there loads of slices of bread.

1

u/metal_hobbit 3d ago

Lucky that block wore his honey repellent shoes huh.

1

u/AcanthaceaePresent84 3d ago

I like how AI has the same physical coherence of a dream.

1

u/Mattrockj 3d ago

Ah yes, because glass/plastic melts when mildly nudged.

1

u/NikoAU 2d ago

Literally slop

1

u/hurraybies 2d ago

The guy just walking into the honey at the end like "ohh noo what a disaster better walk right into the mess".

1

u/greentiger79 2d ago

* no one stacks jars like this.
* kid takes an enormous jar from the bottom (who does that).
* jar near the top slides to the right.
* top jars start to fall without anything else moving.
* jars liquify before falling
* liquid physics is atrocious (not to mention honey is very viscous so wouldn’t come close to this)

1

u/Wrecker_Studios 2d ago

NOOOOOOO MY PISS JARS

1

u/According-Ad-5946 2d ago

I like how some exploded before they fell.

1

u/ANARCHAOTICAL 2d ago

The jar in hand is sooooo big too, wtf AI

1

u/DoshinTheYellowGiant 2d ago

I like how the employe steps into the honey to act shocked

1

u/Tonynguyen0521 2d ago

AI surely forgot how physics work here

-2

u/Wise_Cryptographer19 3d ago

Is this real?

16

u/Chiz_taken4_5523 3d ago

are you stupid? .... OFC IT'S REAL, I SAW IT ON TV

3

u/inorite234 3d ago

You lie dawg!

I seent that shit on the innannets!

14

u/groomliu 3d ago

Yes, I'm the janitor who had to clean the mess, hate it when this happens

5

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 3d ago

They are stuck there doing clean up right now, and may even be stuck there until next week!

3

u/Alert-Environment-17 3d ago

You're Winnie the Pooh aren't you? Posing as a cleaner just so you can eat all that sweet sweet honey.

1

u/dovetaile 2d ago

Oh bother.

1

u/Quirky-Concern-7662 3d ago

Cool they have those honey jars that dissolve when they shatter so you don’t need to worry about shards.

1

u/The_Barbelo 3d ago

My cats once knocked over a bottle of maple syrup that shattered and got on EVERYTHING. It a was so horrible to clean up. I was finding dried crusty syrup spots for months. My cats are not AI though.

4

u/dovetaile 3d ago

Yes it's real. I was one of the jars of honey.

0

u/mydckisvrysmol 3d ago

Clean up on the Honey aisle

0

u/Shadowtheuncreative 3d ago

Yeah right because he totally took a jar from up there where the jars started falling from and the shapes of the jar lids on the floor are gross, uugh!
