THAT WAS ALL AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR T-SHRITS?!!?!?!?

16

u/Toroceratops 5h ago

Antisemitic tshirts. That’s where we are as a society.

6

u/Kappalonia 5h ago

Yeah thats the worst thing about today, 'antisemitism' and feelings getting hurt. Not a genocide and clearly bought out politicians.

-6

u/Toroceratops 5h ago

“Antisemitism is okay if you support Palestine.”

-3

u/Important_Fruit_3167 1h ago

Russia is committing a genocide in Ukraine. That still doesn't justify being racist towards slavic people. Same principle applies to Israel. It doesn't justify racism towards jewish people.

4

u/Reds_Strongest_Chef 5h ago

Antisemitism is when you oppose genocide.

16

u/Toroceratops 5h ago

Using “Goy” in this way with the motto on those shirts is how Neo-Nazis and Groypers talk.

-5

u/Reds_Strongest_Chef 5h ago

Goy is a slur against non jews lmao.

0

u/Disasterhuman24 4h ago edited 3h ago

Yes, Goy is the slur Jews use for gentiles

5

u/Toroceratops 4h ago

No it isn’t. It’s the word for “nation.” In Hebrew it’s used to refer to the people of other nations. It’s not a slur any more than “foreigner” is a slur. It can be used in a derogatory manner at times, like almost any phrase taking about other people, but it’s a pretty simple concept.

2

u/monhst 1h ago edited 6m ago

Etymology isn't relevant when discussing if something is a slur. N word literally just means "black". Is there any other word used to describe an outgroup that the members of said outgroup aren't allowed to use for themselves or to find offensive?

0

u/Disasterhuman24 4h ago

It didn't originate as a slur but they use it like one nowadays. You're being intentionally obtuse.

2

u/Toroceratops 3h ago

I’m a Jew, genius. I’m in Jewish spaces all the time. I’ve never heard it used as a slur. So who are “they” that you’re talking about?

1

u/Disasterhuman24 3h ago edited 3h ago

Okay so you're Jewish? Just because you personally do not use it that way doesn't mean that's not how others do use it.

1

u/Flat-Leading-2520 3h ago

That's like saying Gringos is a slur.

1

u/Disasterhuman24 3h ago

It's different. Israel is a Jewish supremacist state and one of the words they have co-opted to describe the gentiles/non Jews who they slaughter wholesale is Goys. The primary users of the word are literally accused of a genocide by the UN and other bodies who specifically were made to decide such things. It's a slur.

u/PowerlineCourier 5h ago

I mean there's opposing genocide, and then there's putting the same antisemetic tropes on a t shirt that literal nazis use

-1

u/Legitimate-Reach7427 4h ago

Lmao goy isn’t even a slur and it’s mostly used by neonazis to scare each other of Jewish people

2

u/PowerlineCourier 4h ago

I didnt say its a slur I said the statement the shirt is making is antisemetic.

2

u/Legitimate-Reach7427 4h ago

Sorry I clicked reply on the wrong comment lol

u/Iwubinvesting 1h ago

We can get mad but Zuck permits it in both his platforms

Rabbi ryuk hit me like a sledgehammer I did not expect that

I hate that this is slightly funny

1

u/7thpostman 6h ago

Because you've lost critical thinking skills?

1

u/Bobthatlovesjob 6h ago

yeah Nevermind bro this was just for T-shirts I’m sorry I thought this was funny

2

u/AdjtveNounNumbr42069 5h ago

So you're fine with AI when you think it's propaganda you agree with, but suddenly not okay when the propaganda AI tries to sell you a t-shirt?

You have ZERO convictions, ZERO principles. I don't think you really give a shit about any of this, and I don't know why you're pretending to.

1

u/Bobthatlovesjob 5h ago

Ok ok I’ll message it better

-I thought the idea of this propaganda was so absurd it kinda was funny to me but it was stupid and then selling t shirts

-j know it’s very bad and I’m Sorry for this change and be the better person

1

u/7thpostman 5h ago

Don't be sorry. Just maybe try to figure out why you're entertained by something so hateful and dangerous. You'll be a better person for it.

1

u/Bobthatlovesjob 5h ago

I’ve figured out and realized why this is bad and I’ll make sure to change and be the better person

1

u/7thpostman 5h ago

That's cool. Why do you think it's bad? Tell me what you realized.

1

u/Bobthatlovesjob 5h ago

I think it leads to the sterotypical harmful stereotypes and overall just is very negative

1

u/7thpostman 5h ago

I think that's right. And you can probably figure out where those harmful stereotypes lead.

1

u/Bobthatlovesjob 5h ago

harmful stereotypes leads to bigotry and propaganda correct? Thats how mass hate campaigns and murders of people of color, race, gender appears

1

u/7thpostman 5h ago

Yeah, that's exactly right. People think stuff like this is harmless and funny, but there are a lot of unhinged people out there who will watch stuff like this and decide to "do something." Then, like you said, mass hate.

Basically, "What if Ryuk trolled the planet in a different way?" I frankly wouldn't put it past him if he had the option.

5

u/Retenrage 6h ago

Is the weird hallway version of Africa by Toto the new bee saxophone?

4

u/EphemeralLurker 6h ago

It's a version "Down Under" by Men at Work

5

u/ravendarkwind 5h ago

It’s because they think that it’s about a mythical underground all-white kingdom called Agartha.

1

u/Retenrage 6h ago

Not gonna lie, you’re right, my brain is just broken this morning lmao.

5

u/MysteriousLight7351 5h ago

Why was the teacher VSauce?

1

u/ch33s3head8 3h ago

HEY, vsauce, michael here

8

u/JasonNodd 5h ago

I am pretty sure this is antisemitic but its just so ai-generatedness that I cant tell

2

u/Jugaimo 5h ago

I kinda vibe with it. It’s so shit that it turns antisemitism into a parody of itself.

Like, this is how I see antisemites. Stupid clowns to be made fun of.

3

u/Reds_Strongest_Chef 5h ago

1

u/Big_Bomber_97 23m ago

I'm not sure what the point of this video is unless you're very stupid. It's a compilation of an extremist rabbi saying extremist things. Okay? Every group has whackos and extremists who say crazy things. It's meaningless.

1

u/Reds_Strongest_Chef 23m ago

Why so defensive?

1

u/Big_Bomber_97 14m ago

Why so offensive? I know you probably think I'm jewish lmao. Cool?

3

u/Clinteastwood100 5h ago

Yeah literally. This is so incomprehensible that it's funny.

1

u/Reoplaw 5h ago

antisemitism ≠ antizionism

8

u/somedudeonachair 5h ago

This isnt antizionism

3

u/Ordinary_Lock_9090 2h ago

The two are inherently intertwined but this is anti semetic as it focuses on making fun of Jews not the state

1

u/JasonNodd 3h ago

I know but the word got is often used by white supremsist groups to label Jews

1

u/Delicious_Ad_9374 2h ago

Its true that antisemitism and anti zionism arent the same thing, but this ai slop was antisemetic much more than it was antizionist

0

u/mizel103 5h ago

What about that comment, or that post, makes you write this?

And for when this guy doesn't answer - it's because this guy is an anti-semite, and he wants to delegitimize criticism of anti-semitism by bringing up Israel whether it has anything to do with the topic or not.

-1

u/Reoplaw 5h ago

I'm not sure if we both watched the same video, but there's not a single mention of a "jew" or "semitism" in the entire video.

It's AI slop, yes, but it's also satirical critique of Isreal.

If Isreal wouldn't be bombing Palestine, killing thousands of civilians, spreading zionist propaganda online, believe or not, this video wouldn't exist.

1

u/mizel103 3h ago

So your position is that there's nothing anti-semitic about this video. These are all just legitimate criticism of Netanyahu

1

u/Big_Bomber_97 27m ago

This comment is ironically enough, an excellent example of modern antisemitism in action. One of the new tactics is pretending that antisemitism is either just a hatred of Judaism as a religion or of anyone who speaks Semitic languages.

Now, antisemitism as a term has meant specifically an ethnic hatred of jews for a very long time. So this person almost certainly knows what they're doing and is being very intentional about it.

-8

u/MichaelCabernet 5h ago

Antizionism is a subset of antisemitism

-1

u/Reoplaw 5h ago

the other way around, antisemitism is a subset of antizionism.

Not all antizionists are antisemitic, but all antisemites are antizionists.

3

u/Careful_Purple2838 5h ago

Idk actually. Some antisemites might be simmilar to anti muslim sentiment. They can exist, just not in my country. For that having an ethnostate for jews and trying to get all jews there could be zionist antisemitism

1

u/avshalombich 1h ago

Not really, as we see everyday antisemitic  people can stand the Idea of independent jewish state and rumble all day about AIPAC.

1

u/Cam_I_am88 5h ago

Most original anti zionists believed that jews should be sent to the west bank because they werent compatible with european society

0

u/Express-Umpire5232 4h ago

There are antisemitic zionists though like American evangelicals and people that want Jews to leave their country and go to Israel instead

-3

u/MichaelCabernet 5h ago

All antizionists are antisemites, because they’re applying a standard to Jews that isn’t applied to anyone else on earth. It’s an ethno-cultural double-standard, and thus antisemitic.

5

u/Reoplaw 5h ago

biggest BS I've heard.

we are antizionists beacuse we don't believe ethnostates should exist, period.

The bombing of children is just cherry on top.

If you think about it, zionists are actually antisemites beacuse palestinians are semites, that's something to think about.

0

u/MichaelCabernet 4h ago

You believe Britain shouldn’t be British, then?

And the term “antisemitic” was devised to refer specifically to Jews. That what it’s talking about.

1

u/Lance__Lane 57m ago

Britain isnt on an ethnostate path. Hope that helps

2

u/bigfatdog22 4h ago

Wildly incorrect, considering the existence of antizionist Jews. They aren't self-hating, they just think violent conquest is bad no matter the rationale, and that a military state isn't the best option for a country based within judaism.

0

u/MichaelCabernet 4h ago

Define a “military state”, please. And antizionist jews are absolutely antisemitic. Violent conquest is not a part of Zionism. You’re thinking of ultra-nationalism, a philosophy that some Israelis try to justify on Zionist grounds. That isn’t the same thing as Zionism.

1

u/Careful_Purple2838 1h ago

You assume jew is a more relevant identifier than german for example. That is exactly the rhetoric nazis used to justify treating them as second class citizens. If anything you are an antisemite (or at least racist) for assuming this

0

u/Express-Umpire5232 4h ago

It’s not; it’s antizionist. You know, it’s people like you who conflate Zionism with Judaism that are causing the rise in antisemitism we are seeing today. The Zionist state of Israel does not represent all Jews

3

u/Legitimate-Reach7427 4h ago

Are you cooked? Did you watch the slop video? Is there anything you people wouldn’t say this about

2

u/Hamster12301 2h ago

I'm Jewish and I'm fucking dying at this. What the fuck am I watching lmaoo

3

u/Dwarf_DM 6h ago

Yeah, just antisemitic AI slop crap

8

u/YoiteAoyagi 4h ago

seriously! It’s pure antisemitism. and before anyone says it’s antiZIONISM- saying shit like “goyslop” IS antisemitic & they definitely weren’t slick with that background music that TikTok neo nazis love (I’m aware the og song hadn’t anything to do with it!)

1

u/foxymew 3h ago

Can't tell if I'm just getting tired of these, or that they're just getting way worse. Probably a bit of both, but I feel like they're just getting worse and worse.

As a death note fan; 🫩

1

u/Logic-DL 2h ago

"Hey Vsauce! Michael here. My soul is in Israel......"

"Or is it?"

1

u/Popular_Tie4688 3h ago

I never saw deathnote. But it sounds like it was just a metaphor for money. They book is like a magical accounts ledger?

1

u/georgisaurusrekt 3h ago

In death note, if you write the name of a person in the book and the way in which they will die it becomes true. Highly recommend watching, I'm not even an anime guy myself but I really enjoyed it

1

u/Complete_Mud_1657 2h ago

It was good until you know who died. Just felt like the series was meandering after that point.

1

u/TruthBomb1337 2h ago

Why is bro posting AIGems on r/aislop? Is he stupid?

-2

u/7thpostman 6h ago edited 5h ago

This is really monstrous stuff. Shit like this is why people call in bomb threats to synagogues
