It equals hours. So if you take a 6 hour shift off you lose 6 hours, take a 4 hour shift off you'll lose 4 hours off your balance. Its around 2.5 weeks. Resets April 1st

one more question i’ve been doing more than 3 days atm so if i booked the 3 days off in one week they won’t schedule me for the other days will they?

I said no if you have booked a week off they shouldn’t , if you have only booked a day off they might, it’s up to you if you want to do it or not.

thats what you have left this year to take before the 31st march 2027, you will be entitled to 73 hours holiday from 1st april 2027 to 31st march 2028 as thats your full years entitlement

But also to remember that you need to work that whole year in the end to actually earn the holidays. If you leave before working "enough" hours and you used lots of holidays you will have to pay them back - lots of people forget that and get shocked when their last payslip is small. Had lots of people quit in March because of that - but obviously you cant always choose when you leave.
