Never felt this way before, is this normal?

I started a new job 3 weeks ago for my local Walmart, and one of the people that was training me, I feel something ive never felt before, im pretty young and never felt this about someone before, ive have had crushes in school and liked people before, but for some reason this feels different, and i dont know how to explain it. Its not lust, I mean id say shes above average looking, but theirs definitely more better looking people at my job. Is this normal, because its starting to annoy me that feel this way about someone I just met and barley even know, I cant even remember her name

You're infatuated. Could be her looks, personality, hell even on a phermonal level she just checks all the boxes.

Not sure how young you are but generally not a great idea to get involved with people at work unless you don't care about keeping the job if things go south.

Best of luck!

Thats what I was thinking, shes id say atleast 5 years old than me, and I honestly dont even know why im drawn to her, but for whatever reason I cant get her off my mind, its starting to annoy me. I probably won't do or anything unless she does, I like this job compared to my other ones.

I'd maybe mentally reframe it so you don't view it as "annoying" and enjoy being around someone you're drawn to, it'll make worse less difficult.

Perfectly fine to have a work crush that you look forward to seeing every day.

Don't worry, you're just gassy. It'll pass. Hopefully not in front of her though.

A great match isn't just the prettiest woman you can date. There's a lot that goes into it. She's got a way of talking to you, a certain look in her eyes, or the way she smiles, or maybe lots of things that just work together all in a way that your brain just loves. No I don't mean you're in love. Just that your brain loves whatever combination of traits she has. Don't take this to mean you two should date. She may not be even slightly interested, especially since it's work. Or who knows, maybe you get married and have 12 kids, what do I know.

Lol have fun but be careful. I met my now wife when she was the supervisor at the warehouse we both work. But now we've been together 7 years and married last June, currently looking for houses.

That being said, I wouldn't advise hitting in your boss either 😅 but yolo, ya know?

Someone has just discovered that they value personality equally as much or more than physical looks. Welcome to the ‘normal, well adjusted’ part of the human race.

Its normal yes, I disagree about getting her number, unless she makes any effort at all, especially since her pretty new, domt want to come off as a weirdo as they hardly know him, and he seems like hes unsure if he genuinely likes her, as he said him self hes annoyed he keep thinking about her. If I wwre him id give it a while to see if its genuine and she has does anything back

Why waste time? He likes her, he should go for it.

If he still likes her in a week or 2, id say go for it! You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, but again thats if hes will to put his job on the line if she takes it wrong way.

Love is a splendid thing. I would say go for it BUT IT'S A CO-WORKER. Warning bells should be going off. Even if you and this person has the same feelings for you. If it goes wrong. You will find out what it means to live in Hell. Keep it cool 😘

I know, its worrying me too, I know it could make things awkward. I dont like that im attracted to her but for some reason my brain won't stop thinking about her, its honestly kind of irritating. I mean she seems like a good person, nothing against her but it feels like I can't control it.

Just hormones. Very common.

You fell in love with her as a person.

Because this is quite romantic I would very carefully see if there's a chance, but be aware it's uncertain and a little dangerous.

We vibrate at a certain frequency. Some people resonate well and other totally clash and are off key. Sounds like you met someone you click with on an energetic level in addition to the regular ego/mind likes and dislikes stuff.

It's super annoying when your mind gets hijacked without your permission.
Play it cool, be friendly but not overly so. See what happens. It's"not smart" to date someone at work, but if the universe is trying to get your attention because she's important to your life in some way..... you won't be able to ignore it.

Get to know her better over the course of a few months. If you feel she's reciprocating interest, ask her out once. If she says no, then the answer is no and you need to process that. To anyone saying not to pursue her, I say fuck that noise. Work is where a ton of people meet - hell you certainly spend enough time with them.
