That fuck ass pastor voted against it I think because he doesn't want students knowing the truth of what Christians did to people back then over a mass hysteria.

Two notes -
1 - This is the most generous the owner of that museum has ever been in his life. Biff (his actual name as an adult human,) is a notorious cheapskate which is why ...
2 - The kids now have free tickets to a museum that hasn't been updated or dusted since 1972. I really hope the kids temper their expectations.

Yeah, it's more of a tourist trap than a museum. An audio presentation in a room full of dramatically lit statues followed by the quickest possible and least informative gallery tour of the history of "witches" in every possible unrelated context. Nothing will be learned there

We do Salem every few years and stay at the Henry Derby House. We did the museum before years ago, so this year we decided to check out the museum again. They might have dusted since we went there. However, the "presentation" is still as old and outdated (and moderately racist) as ever. If Biff actually does something with the place, I'll be very surprised.

I was there almost 20 years ago and it seemed a bit old and tired then. Definitely a tourist trap but cool to visit once if you've never been. Just this week I was going through an old box of stuff and found the magnet I got there and put it on the fridge. If you're visiting MA I highly recommend also going to Fall River and touring the Lizzy Borden house.
