Halloween lollies?
This is my first Halloween I’ll be vegan and I don’t know what lollies/chocolates/treats are okay to have. What are some options, preferably from Woolies or Cole’s.

Sweet William chocolate koalas, Pico and Nomo chocolate, Woolies Bugs and Beetles lollies, Skittles Giants and Fruit Pandas are apparently vegan (not the regular Skittles), Rowntree Jelly Tots, Naturally Good Mylk Partyz and Zillions, Coles have vegan/gluten free chocolate cupcakes.

Allen's has vegan jelly beans. They contain wheat, if that is an issue for you.

can I just say, good on you for being vegan while having celiacs! I know a lot of people think its impossible to be both vegan and gf but it is possible if you try :)

Mentos and chupa chups have lots of vegan options, also M&S Percy pigs at Coles and Darrell Lea raspberry licorice

Yeahh a year or two ago they started using shellac as a glazing agent 💔 The US version is still vegan so if you have a local imported candy store they should have them there (double check that it doesn’t contain Glazing Agent 904 which is Shellac). Sucks because it’s clearly not an essential ingredient if the US version is made without it

Are you looking for trick or treating? Party? Or just good eating?

I posted on Reddit last week re Halloween and bought zappo ghost drops. I’ve done cobs sweet salty mini packs before. You can also do wizz fizz!

There's no law requiring it be sweet. It just has to be unhealthy!
Heaps of single-serve junk in the snack food aisle. Smiths original, Pringles BBQ, Shapes barbecue, Burger Rings (ignore the warning on the back; they don't actually contain milk), Vege Chips (might be in the "health" food section).
Some biscuits such as Oreos and Lotus Biscoff come in individual serve packs too.

They're not from Coles or Woolies, but Swedish Bubs are vegan and are often shaped like skulls. There are a bunch of online Australian places you can get them.

If you can find them, then a lot of Swizzels lollies (from the UK) are vegan - Love Hearts, chews, Drumsticks, etc - and some stores in Aus sell the "party mix" or "sweet shop favourites" packets around Halloween, especially independent grocers or import candy shops.
Similarly "Millions" are sometimes sold in packs of mini individual bags, they're kind of like Nerds. They're GF!
My favourites were the UFO lollipops you can sometimes find at Big W or K-Mart, the kind of sherbert-y ones.

Sour patch lollies are always a good time, or a lot of hard lollies and lollipops are vegan (they’re mostly just sugar lol)
You can also just go on the Woolworths app and filter the confectionary section by dietary and lifestyle - vegan

Try the Health Lab range at Woolies. They have plenty of healthy chocolate snacks.
