For me it is, I know I'm generalising heavily, but most fights in Bleach follow the same pattern. One side dominates, then the loser goes "nuh-uh, here's my power-up," and the tide turns. Now it's one-sided in the other direction, until the new loser pulls out their own power-up. And so it goes back and forth. By the time someone finally loses, you have to double-check whether any power-ups are still left in the inventory.

You rarely get a fight on equal footing from start to finish, and a lot of the defeats feel lackluster.

The back and forth is most prevalent in TYBW, especially in the Royal Guard vs. Schutzstaffel fights.

I have to say that the young version has its merits, but adult Yhwach is something else entirely

IMO, it’s Gin and Kamishini no yari. Gin has always been described and portrayed as a snake. A liar, deceiver and always just lying in wait. Kamishini extends and strikes quickly and deadly like a snake uncoiling. The fact that his Bankai looks no different than his Shikai is PERFECT! You may not know his swords reach or speed because maybe you don’t know if he’s in Shikai or Bankai. Plus the fact that his Bankai is a poison type in Bankai like a snakes venom is pure genius. He’s one of the most underrated and consistent characters from start to finish.

Who do you think?

Had to repost because it got deleted yesterday 😭 but understandable, it hadn't been 48 hours yet

I always thought she was entertaining and really pretty, although it’d be nice if we knew anything about her Zanpakuto

But the fact that she didn't really adds to her character.

When Shunsui was a young adult and a disciple of Yamamoto he had the same middle aged appearance as he did during the Quincy war 1000 years ago, so it leads me to believe he's not that much older and founded the soul reaper academy not too long after their defeat.

During the TBTP flashback it's been shown that Shunsui was already a veteran captain by that point and Yamamoto has now grown into the same old aged look as he does in the present. So far makes sense, it would be logical to assume many centuries have gone by since Yamamoto founded the soul reaper academy.

But then we not only do find out that Nanao was old enough to have been Shunsui was a young, but centuries later when he's now a veteran captain and Yamamoto has gone grey she's still a child.

So has she been a toddler for centuries or what lol

If I got it correctly, Urahara forced somehow Yoruichi to transform. Was it stated or answered somewhere how it was done?

I'm an anime only guy and still after watching Bleach, Orihime became my favourite character.

When defending Orihime, people usually resort to saying that "the anime did her dirty" or "she's annoying in the anime". How are these subtle changes responsible for transforming her from annoying to lovable?

Now I DO understand when people say the manga version of her character was better. But to say that the anime version is outright bad while claiming to appreciate the manga version doesn't make sense.

Am I missing something? And I'm also curious if there are others who only watched the anime and love Orihime.

Found this casting on Facebook. How does it look???? OP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3104823969838852/permalink/4208855322769039/

I personally have Unohana as my pick, her dual nature as a murderer yet also being gentle and kind, definitely adds to her depth. Along with her history with Zaraki.
