Hard to believe she’s almost 50!

Meanwhile, at 17, I look like a sack of potatoes (I know y'all are going to say makeup and stuff but come on, SMG was always beautiful now and then. I will not know how to describe her beauty but it's mesmerizing)

I was listening to a podcast and heard a great story about Sarah. When Michelle Trachtenberg joined the cast, SMG advised her that it was very important to nail your lines and hit your marks because the crew often work much longer hours for far less money, so if the actors aren’t on the ball, it makes the crew’s days worse/more complicated.

Other cast members also noted that Sarah had a remarkable ability to nail even difficult, long speeches or action scenes in one take.

I always knew she was a lovely person, but it’s nice to have that confirmed with the little details.

The sass that is *Buffy*.

SMG has never really known how to pick shows after Buffy. She hyped up stuff like The Ringer, The Crazy Ones, and Wolf Pack — which honestly might be one of the worst teen supernatural shows ever made. Buffy was her peak. It’s not even disrespectful, it’s just reality.

So I’m not shocked she signed off on this reboot with no real original cast involved. Nobody is asking for another “teens texting each other while fighting vampires” CW-style clone. I’m good.

If they really wanted a smart Buffy revival, they should’ve brought in Danny Strong — the guy who played Jonathan and later went on to help write The Hunger Games empire. That’s the kind of creative brain you call for a legacy reboot, not some random pick that feels disconnected from what made Buffy work in the first place.

Looking for some Halloween inspiration... which outfit immediately makes you yell BUFFY?

Like, when someone mentions Buffy the Vampire Slayer what exact version of her comes to mind first?

Is it early high school Buffy? Season 3 Buffy? College era Buffy? Or maybe she grew older alongside you in your head?

I want to know if there’s a specific age, season, episode or point in her character arc where she kind of became immortalized in your head as the definitive Buffy for you.

Personally my mind goes straight to Season 5 Episode 1 Buffy vs. Dracula. That version of Buffy is basically the one permanently in my head and heart.

Just spotted this image in 2x17 of Buffy and wondered if she was a natural blonde.

They both worked so hard! Sarah also notes how Prom was her favorite season and episode. I'm glad Chloe Zhao was able to get her a replica and gift it to her. But like come on. She should've gotten the award, some wardrobe and a couple stakes and crosses.
