Artistic Dumpling Tracker
I’m working on my 2027 journal pages and decided I need to track where I get dumplings from and whether they were any good so I don’t keep ordering from sub-par dumpling purveyors. They get stored in a pocket in the opposite page, then I write the restaurant name and star rating and stick them on the “bamboo steamer” page. 😄

Question Maybe journaling doesn't have to look the same every day
After reading the replies to my last post, I’ve been thinking about how much I focus on how I journal instead of what I actually need from it.
Some days I want to sit down with my notebook and really write. Other days, the thought of filling a page feels like too much, even when I have things on my mind.
A few people suggested writing just a sentence or a couple of bullet points, and honestly, I hadn't given myself enough permission to do that.
Maybe the format doesn't need to be the same every time. A proper entry when I feel like writing, a few lines when I don't have much energy, or even trying voice notes when writing feels like a chore.
I'm starting to think the useful part isn't how much I write, but whether I have a way to get my thoughts out when I need to.
Has anyone else found that changing how you journal depending on the day makes it easier to stick with?

Question Why use AI for the thumbnail containing a notebook? :/
I am a bit disappointed.
After the Lochby-AI-trash in the last days, this is no good use of AI if you promote a analog way otherwise.
So: STOP THIS please

Help- separate long form dairy or include in bullet journal
Hi I've been on/ off with my bullet journal for about a year now. I do want to start some more long form journaling. I want a space where I can write my thoughts and feelings down. I like the idea of incorporating this into my bullet journal but wonder how best to go about doing this or would it be better to have a separate journal?

Question I love journaling, but I can never seem to stick with it
I’ve been journaling for a few years now, and honestly, I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with it.
There are days when writing everything down feels so good. I can get things off my chest, make sense of what’s going on in my head, and sometimes even figure out what’s been bothering me. But then there are weeks when I barely touch my journal, even when I know I have a lot on my mind.
Sometimes I just don’t have the energy to sit down and write everything out. And then I feel like I’m falling behind on something that’s supposed to help me, which is kind of ironic.
Lately, I’ve been wondering if pen and paper are really the best fit for me, or if I should give digital journaling a proper try. I’ve even thought about voice journaling, just talking through my thoughts instead of having to type or write them all out.
But I’m also a little attached to the idea of having a physical journal, so I’m not sure I want to give that up completely.
For those of you who’ve tried different ways of journaling, did switching formats actually help you stay consistent? Or does it come down to the same struggle no matter what you use?

Question Trouble managing daily tasks that might be time and/or place specific.
Edit (afterthefact): Thank you everyone for taking the time to interact with me today :D
I did kinda run out of steam towards the end and didn't have the capacity to answer everyone, but please know that I've read and considered all your points and ideas.
And I'm leaving with a bunch of new ones to try. I hope this will also be a good resource for anyone stumbling onto this thread in the future. If that's you: hello 👋
Original post:
Hello peoples of the internets.
I've been bullet journaling for a couple of years with varying success, but there is something that has been bugging me recently:
I usually write things down in my daily log as they surface, but many of my tasks and actions are time or place specific. For example some studying tasks I'll only do when I get to the library in the afternoon, some tasks I'll do before I leave the house and some are specific to an event I'm attending in the evening.
But these tasks are right next to each other in my daily log with no order whatsoever and it feels really inefficient/clunky to use.
I often end up rewriting like half of my tasks under a specific "at home" header or something as sub-tasks or I migrate them outside bujo into a tasks app like Google Keep where I can drag them around. However ideally I'd like to stay inside my BuJo AND be able to tell my currently relevant tasks from non-relevant ones at a glance.
Does anybody have experience with similar problems? Are there any people for whom this is only a problem of the past? What methodology do you use to get around this? Any advice or discussion is welcome.
Thank you for reading:)

Decoration Decorated my October cover
These last few months of the year, I'm using signatures for each month in my bullet journal. I didn't want to use anything else because in December I'll start using my Hobonichi Weeks, and in January my Cousin and A6, so I wanted to keep it simple.
I bought a bunch of signatures for very little money on Amazon and use one little notebook per month inside my Traveler's Notebook cover. It's great because every month I decorate a different notebook.
I only have November left, and maybe I'll make a December one too, since the Hobonichi Weeks is just for work and school.
I love how it turned out! I'm using several techniques:
Die-cuts
Watercolor
Clear stamps
Stickers
What do you guys think?
Btw October is in Spanish Octubre 😄

Minimalist Plotter Mini 6 setup
I use a Plotter Mini 6, it does 3 jobs. 1, my wallet 2, my monthly planner (using the plotter monthly inserts) and 3, my BuJo. I put last month’s pages in a storage binder (by plotter). It helps me stay on top of things and not get bogged down by my past mistakes, problems, and failures. The small pages help me keep each entry straight to the point and forces me to think about what the real task is. No fancy spreads no space for drawing or stickers. Just relevant information. I went in this direction to keep me focused. My desk has a lamp, inkwell, pen tray, and what I am working on in the moment. No tech, aesthetics, or other pointless bits and bobs. My productivity has improved significantly. My phone even goes into focus mode only letting my husband’s messages to come through.
