Mixed nut butter at Costco
Is this good? Has someone tasted this? Can this replace margarine/butter on a toast?

The supermarket in Spain only sells 200g blocks, got some food delivered from Ireland this week and I don't know why but it is so much more satisfying to have a 454g block :-)

How long do continuously refrigerated, unfrozen sealed butter pats last, before they ultimately go bad? Are there chemical changes or other developments that might occur over time? Thanks.

Was in The Butcher Society in Barcelona today getting meat and picked up some unsalted Bordier butter as I hadn't eaten it in a while.
Not cheap at 7.70 euro for 125g but the taste is pretty divine and a nice change from my staples of Kerrygold and Carrefours Bio butter. Link below for a video on how it is made.

I heard a group of people online discussing butter and they were saying they don't refrigerate butter or margarine and it's never effected them and when i ask ai it says refrigerate but i know it gets it's response online from groups like this and it's going to play it safe just like cooperations would which makes sense. So what about y'all? Is it safe as long as your not in death valley heat?

I had some breast milk left in my freezer and couldn't bring myself to throw it away.
So obviously I did the sensible thing and tried making butter with it. π
500 ml (about 2 cups) of breast milk made this tiny 2.5 g (0.09 oz) piece of butter.
I also taste tested it next to regular butter.
Besides the difference in taste, the human butter was much softer and wetter.
Any idea what could have caused that?

Somewhat new to appreciating different butters, but was lucky to find a local store with what seems to be a good variety to try. Any recommendations for what is best from these pics?

Has anyone read this book? Pretty interesting in terms of the history of butter, the many different types and production methods and it gives a lot of great recommendations of different butters around the world.
