being in the southeast, I check the NHC's site pretty frequently every summer, and I like to speculate as to what systems might be cooking out in the Atlantic, so getting to work in a NOAABall is a particular treat

I was in Europe telling someone how it has been a quiet season thankfully when I opened the NHC website and saw this one in the gulf. Sorry everyone it was my fault.

well, see... from the layman's perspective (lay Dawg's perspective?) it looks as though the tendrils of the storm suggests a counter-clockwise rotation pattern

also... quiet, you!!
