Zero hesitation. Heupel is the worst coach in the SEC. Period. If you look at how much money we pay him and our resources, he underperforms every year. Right now, we are one of the three or four worst teams in the SEC on a neutral field.
Wow. You’re one of those Vol Twitter crazies I’ve heard about. We really do have the absolute dumbest fans in college football.
He’s far from the worst in the SEC. He’s not the best, but he’s far from the worst. You don’t take a team that barely won 3 games in 2020 and had to forfeit those games because our coach at the time couldn’t even cheat and win, and turn them into a 10 win team and would’ve been a playoff team under the 12 team rules, without being at least a decent coach. And then he did take a team to the playoffs.
Any fan that thought we’d be a competitive team this year doesn’t know ball. New inexperienced QB and a new DC means that this was never gonna be a good year. That said, we still had a chance to beat the #1 team in the country.
Heupel made the changes he needed to last year to make the defense better and I’m sure he’ll do the same this year if the offenses continues to struggle.
You’ve already said that. Is that the standard response they teach kids in alabama school systems? No wonder you can’t figure out the flair thing. I’m proud of you for being able to remember that phrase.
