For what Thimble lacks in singing accuracy, he makes up for in speech acuity, I like to think.

that mirror stare is sooo serious like he's actually waiting for the other bird to answer lol. most tiels nail whistles but totally mumble words so Thimble having it backwards is kinda impressive.

He loves that mirror so much, he spends maybe the first 15 or so minutes outside of his cage catching up with the mirror bird before he goes about exploring the room and foraging through the carpet lol

He's got his priorities straight, gotta get the social hour in first lol. Makes sense though, they're super flock-oriented birds.
