Title: My coloring of Shiranui from Nine Peaks! (Original vs. Colored)
Hey everyone!
I recently finished coloring this illustration of Shiranui from Nine Peaks, and I wanted to share the result!
I went for a warm atmosphere in the hallway while using cooler blue tones for the background characters to make Shiranui stand out.
I had a lot of fun working on this one!
What do you think of the colors and overall atmosphere? Feedback is always welcome!
Original artwork by Tetsuhiro Hirakawa (Nine Peaks) Colors by HAWKS120

As someone who found so much joy in art as a teenager, I'm happy to be back at it. I never thought I would have the patience to do comic work, but here I am!
If you are curious, my comic is called ImpTown and is available here: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/imptown/list?title_no=1146662

Pyrography art based on Mike Mignola’s OG piece from the Giant Robot comic series, woodburned on 6x8” basswood with yellow accents to make those nasty bugs pop! Daughter snapped before I had a chance to smile

continuing to practice my inking. Ipad, procreate, and clipart studio used to create image. And I hate to tell you how bad I am at reading cursive, but I thought the artist was Ken Mayo. And I figured that was wrong. I feel bad I didn't recognize Mr. Maguire's art immediately.

Trying to add more blacks to my style and make it a bit looser, more sketchier.

I inked this pencil of Green Lantern. I can't read cursive very well, so I am unsure of the penciller. It looks like maybe Pat? not sure I feel bad I can't give direct credit, but the pencils ARE NOT mine. I just inked this great pic.

I found I work best when im read a book of what I draw.
Im also open to feedback, I dont like coloring and im trying to get better at it but what would yall say is missing from my art for a wider appeal.

Hi everyone! Hope you’re starting the week off nicely.
Here’s the pencil art from a secret project I’ll talk about in the near future, shall I develop this story sooner than later.
While reality is - most of the time - quite a hard thing to embrace, it’s actually the first time as an artist I’ve decided to transform the pain into something psychologically and emotionally useful.
And here we are, making more comics.
Stay tuned for the forthcoming outcomes from this and the ongoing storytellings!
You can see more of my previous works and contact info in the comments.
Thank you!

Thanks for checking my wood burn Art inspired by my favorite comic artist Mike Mignola. This was burned on 9 x 13 inch basswood colored with prisma color pencils and took roughly 12 hours to complete
