I accidentally went on a date with one. I thought it strange that he was wearing long sleeves during July so I commented on it. He replied he had a tattoo that 'some people consider offensive' and I being me was like 'naked lady? I'm cool with that.' Then he showed me, it was a damn Swastika. He'd also mentioned earlier in the date that 'you aren't as pale as your profile pictures' which I thought was odd but attributed to him not knowing how goth make-up works. He throughout the date after that was racist as fuck to our server (I apologized and explained I'd found this psycho on the Internet and if they could please make sure I got to my car okay because I didn't exactly feel safe). It's still beyond me why a Nazi would agree to a date at a Mexican restaurant. That was my last Okcupid date after my first time trying online dating. (Took a break for a long time after that.)
Everyone loves foreign food. Historically food integrates really well into the "host culture" while other aspects take much much longer to integrate. Cafes also blend in pretty nicely.
I think they mistake the pale faced, high contrast make-up for being cool with racism, I guess? However if they knew goth is an offshoot of punk originally then they'd know most goths are not cool with it. (I feel like they don't know anything though and they just want a big tittied goth gf like so many claim they want.)
"I think they mistake the pale faced, high contrast make-up for being cool with racism, I guess?"
Perhaps? But it could just be as simple as "I'll charm her and make her based over time and I'll have a nazi goth girlfriend." sounds ridiculous, I know but I legit would not be shocked.
nazis and manosphere fucks go hand in hand afterall.
"they just want a big tittied goth gf like so many claim they want."
I imagine its even worse now, considering certain YT shorts that kept popping up a month or two ago involving goth girls.
It is, it totally is. I had a former “”friend”” in High school who is a Nazi, and he kept saying shit about getting a “Big titty goth GF” both joking about it and not. Which with the amount of times he kept bringing it up, I was already a bit uncomfortable with him.
One morning he talked about his political views which is when he went about as far right as you would expect from a Nazi. I asked him if he was and he said that he was then proceeded to do a full on Nazi salute in the middle of a hallway.
As soon as I found out he was a Nazi, I was Breathless and every alarm in my head went off because I am Bisexual, and Nazi assholes absolutely hate the LGBTQ+ community.
I avoided him at all costs from then on, and told all my friends that he was an actual Nazi (they did not see this incident).
My BIL is a ghostly white Trump supporter, literally has a shrine to Trump in his house. My SIL is very clearly Latina. My BIL is the most loser ass loser you've ever met in your life, can barely hold down a job to save his life, and my SIL is a small business owner with loyal customers. Unfortunately, my SIL is a moron and blindly believes everything her husband says, believes he's a good person because they both go to church and got baptized, and they both are conspiracy theorists. Guess who thinks he's the big man of the house.
