Very! The counterpart is a hch, or the horizontal version, so that’s how they get differentiated.

Is one better than the other? Imagine horizontal could cause more damage during activities? Or do people usually take them out when running etc.

It really depends on your anatomy. Not every clit is designed for every piercing. I am very much an innie, so my piercer didn’t think a horizontal one would sit well or be comfortable.

For the vertical you need enough space to support the piercing. Mine is pretty small, but I was just able to get the smallest size.

They will do a cue-tip test where they take the cotton off the top of the tip to make it less bulky, and will then insert it under the hood, and if you have at least enough space for the top of the cuetip then it should work.

I view it like a lion mouth door knocker on a house: it functions exactly the same but seems somewhat more grandiose and exciting to use.
