I use a menstrual cup that got flagged once. They literally told me "We don't know what that is, but nothing came up on the pat-down so go ahead." I was too embarrassed to explain what it was.

As a guy, this is true, for really most people… many guys I know barely knew what periods were and weren’t comfortable talking about them until like… welp, basically never lol

Do you wear a backup pad or period panties? I've never had my menstrual cup detected and it should be too internal to set off an AIT.
