At Disney World I was told by someone running a workshop on how to draw Disney characters that Goofy is “technically a man”. Do with that information as you will.

I was confused at your comment for a minute there cuz saying “colored” could mean a lotta things. So i read the article where that sentence was in and it was the hard R, which to be fair that’s more direct and allat. Tho, they said in one of the hardly readable docs that he wasnt a caricature.. so was it a substitute for a different word? Maybe stupid? Weird? I don’t know

I just read the article you linked, he didn’t say “good natured coloured boy” he used the N word in place of coloured

The only other sources I found needed scholarly subscriptions. I think I copied from another. If I find another. I’ll comment it later.
